I like how they have the old degrassi characters play a part in the young degrassi characters storylines that mirror what their characters went through in Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. Like how in Degrassi Junior High Joey was the one that helped out a classmate that was getting hit by his dad. and Now Joey is helping Craig that was getting hit by his dad. Or like in Degrassi High Simpson found the body of a boy that killed himself and in Degrassi Next Gen Simpson talked to Eli, who found Cam's body.

First time I saw these episodes I was in complete shocked. I thought how could a parent hurt their child. I started to cry. Later on in my life I suffered from abuse by my ungrateful step dad(even though I don't claim his as my step dad). My abuse wasn't physically abuse that Craig suffered. My abuse was verbally, emotionally, and mentally but it hurts just as bad as physically abuse. The man that abuse me is not in my life anymore, I blocked him on everything so he doesn't contact me in anyway. Anyways these episodes are very powerful. No one deserve to be abuse
