Donnie, great video! That tool takes all the effort, frustration, and repeated trials out of the equation. Thanks for sharing!

Funny how many specialty tools we accumulate over the years. I'm stuck working this weekend so no dirtbikes.

Nice Job, can I use a Motion Pro Master Link Press Tool to cut the new chain? Just using one side of it instead of the chain cutter?
@DirtBikingwithDonnie Жыл бұрын
Not sure, I’ve never tried it. I have a cheap chain breaker tool that I always use for that purpose.

I was wondering what side did what task 🤔 I just bought one, but mine doesn't have that snazzy on/off labeling...

With the Motion Pro Press On and Off tool can you remove one of the normal flared out pins without having to grind the pin head first?
@DirtBikingwithDonnie Жыл бұрын
Yes, it will press it right out.

@@DirtBikingwithDonnie Hi Donnie, just to confirm. I can use this Motion Pro tool to break off of the links on a new or old chain and not just the master link? The reason I ask is, this Motion Pro tool would be a lot more compact to carry on bike. Kam
@DirtBikingwithDonnie Жыл бұрын
@@greatfallskam I thought you were talking about a riveted master link. Sorry, I haven’t used it as a chain breaker. I don’t think it would be reliable for that.

How do you get your bike so clean and sparkling like brand new?
@DirtBikingwithDonnie4 жыл бұрын
After I rinse off the biggest chunks of mud and dirt I soak the bike with Ecstar motorcycle cleaner. It seems to be the best thing I've found, but the trick is to put the cleaner in a pump sprayer mixed with water. About 10 parts water 1 part cleaner. Very little scrubbing is needed that way. Here's a link to the cleaner I use: amzn.to/32p5zxW
