i can't wait to visit next year! i'm making it a thing to try to hit all the chinatowns wherever i visit. i missed milan, but i'll hit montreal in november. i live in new jersey and was born in nyc so i've been to all three there. i've also been to philadelphia chinatown.

Interesting that you say that we should not spear dim sum with chopsticks. I used to work with someone who was from Shanghai and he was the one who encouraged us to do so even though we were good at using chopsticks.

I'm a bit confused at the eat one dim sum at a time.... I've always like taken one of each for my plate. I will wait until everyone has had at least getting 1 bite of each item before going in for seconds.

Different people have different rules but generally speaking, you’d eat it one at a time than to fill your whole bowl with one of each!
