So, I've been addicted to these videos for the last two days. In that time, since I'm on break, I've watched 26 of your videos in this Tutorial Playlist. Dillon, you're videos are fantastically made, highly detailed and fun to watch. You make some great products and you're a natural teacher. That's a deadly combination, all I can say is that I've wanted to customize shoes for a long time and you've made it convenient to learn and put into practice the techniques required to do this. I have years of experience in glazing ceramics, so I've got a steady hand and those techniques directly transfer over.

I absolutely LOVE your use of stencils to create texture and depth on your shoes. However, I tried this the other day on a pair of shoes I'm working on and quickly realized that this is much harder than it looks. I'm sure this is basic 101 for a customizer but I was completely unsure and inconsistent with how close to get to the stencil with the airbrush, how much paint to have spray through the stencils, etc. Do you have a video or could you make a quick video on the proper technique to use when using hand held stencil? I would SO appreciate it!

Hey, thinking about doing a brick/new York City custom on jordan 1's. But I can't seem to find any white Jordan 1's or atleast highs. Are those highs or mids and whats the difference between them? I know they are pretty much the same shoes but whats the difference in The sneaker world? Idk If you understand my question lol but I guess im trying to say that, how do peopple react to mids or highs in the sneaket community?
@DeJesusCustomFootwear3 жыл бұрын
Highs will always be preferred as those are the originals, the overall shape to just an average viewer is super similar.. but to a sneaker head the silhouette can be quite different with how the toes and heels are shaped. Highs are always gunna be more expensive and harder to track down though lol
