I think it was stated that person could have multiple quirks, however as more quirks are introduced into the human body, an individuals mind begins to decay until they eventually become brain dead and only follow orders, like Nomu. Pretty sure this was told to All Might by Tsukauchi in season 2 around the time he learnt about AFO being alive, although it could’ve also been told to Deku by All Might, I can’t really remember the specifics.

Also, it takes years for the body to be destroyed by multiple quirks (if what the vestiges says are true that is). It took 18 years of the fourth user to die after getting OFA, so they won't die the instant (or so after) they get more quirks.

All we know about Chisaki’s is that he was taken in by the Yakuza boss as a child. Similar to how AFO found Shigiraki. Maybe they both had the same circumstances, where no one would help them because they assumed a hero would. That might be why he called him a “victim”.

Maybe that's why she helped him. Chisaki was completely loyal to the boss, because he helped him in a desperate time. Maybe Sniper chick wants to do the same, so he'll feel indebted to her. She'll help him regain his quirk and heal the boss, regain his sanity, and in return he'll help her on her mission.

Gigantomachia could handle multiple quirks without modifications, so I am not to surprised. I think a strong vessel would be good enough to handle an extra quirk or two without damaging the brain. Although their life span may be cut short as a result.

No, her life span will not be cut short. Depending on the quirk, most people can handle two quirks. Todoroki has both fire and ice, two extremely strong quirks. Overhaul's waifu(Don't know her name) recieved a pretty weak quirk that just allows her to walk on air. It shouldn't affect her in the slightest.

@@tnb4509 Actually, Todoroki's quirk is considered one quirk that has two abilities/elements. (A hybrid quirk I guess.) Lady Nagant, on the other hand, now has two different quirks. So her lifespan may get shorter if she keeps it.

Wolfram from the first movie had a quirk from afo. He life span will be shorten but not going to noticeable until years, unlike with afo that has 6 quirks. Thats why the nomu where created to hold *many* quirks with the strong backlash

So Lady Nagant's bullet crossed 1 Kilometer at a speed that made it hard for Deku ( who, without Full Cowling can react to Todorokis supersonic Iceberg and at 5% can react to bullets at point blank range ) to react to it. Even if we lowball the speed the bullet took to reach Deku at, half the speed it would take to blitz a normal human ( 0.0032 seconds, and since we're lowballing it at half the speed, we'll say that it took the bullet 0.0064 seconds to cross 1 KM ), that would still put the bullet at Mach 471 or 47x faster than the speed of sound. And people complain why Deku had a hard time dodging these bullets

My theory is it takes time for multiple quirks to do damage to somebodies body (who isn’t like Toshinori or Deku whom didn’t have a quirk to begin with). So she can have a second quirk, but it will tear her body apart. AFO didn’t do it for The League of Villains because he wanted them to survive to help Shigi

Pretty sure its stated that AFO overrides the "1 person cant handle more than 1 quirk" rule when he gives a quirk to someone else like how it happened with his brother. The "your brain cant handle multiple quirks" is a rule for passing quirks to others that applies to the "artificial way" of the Doctor. so we can assume that AFO does something to your body as he passes a quirk to you that the doctor had to recreate whenever he wanted to give someone multiple quirks.

Didn't the villain from the first mha movie get a second quirk from all for one? I think people can be given a second or third quirk but eventually there brain becomes a potato after the fourth or fifth. Because it becomes to much power for them to handle. The reason the fourth couldn't handle one for all and danger sense together is because ofa was much stronger than airwalk at the time. Plus it kept getting stronger because the 4th kept honing it. It seems that the ofa takes a bigger toll on the body than most quirks plus its makes the users quirk stronger. So it really can mess with ur body because all the power it has.

I guess, but I hesitate to assume there's no tradeoff because then you'd expect there to be pole with multiple quirks running all over the place, especially among the villain population loyal to AFO before his defeat. A person with two quirks and no drawbacks automatically has an order of magnitude of more potential, especially there are artificially selected and not random like at birth.

The reason why she can take another quirk is the same reasons the past users could take One for All. The Nomus are Nomus because they have a literal cocktail of quirks in their system, something a human just can’t deal with. One extra quirk doesn’t force the human body to change for it, though. It just shortens the lifespan.

Those bullets are way faster than Supersonic. It could cross 1 kilometer and still be fast enough to make Deku have a hard time catching it, tho not by much, so those bullets are already hypersonic.

@@ashleymulenga9115 Deku just has way too much advantage to lose. Pretty much only way LN seems to be on this level is because she has three environmental advantages on her side. Or maybe just two. Its night. She's far away, and got him by suprise, which is literally most of the things that makes a sniper so dangerous. You never know where they are but they know where you are, and they're too far away to take down even if you find them. Deku's already got the location part checked, he's taking away her distance advantage which she's negating with air walk, and even then Deku still has the speed advantage, power advantage, range, and can take away her sight via Smokescreen.

@@0bstolerance Nah because she can control where her bullets go. If deku was so OP he wouldve dodged all the bullets, but the fact that she even hit him with danger sense is op as hell. She literally curved bullets right round him so he had nowhere to go. Limiting his mobility also. And the fact that she can fire them like a machine gun is hella wild. Also, deku will not use smoke screen cuz it's a disadvantage for him as well like we saw in ch.308. On top of being in the dark u think he'll limit his vision even more? Nah. Now the scary part is, shes no longer confined to one spot, she can basically fly now. That alone increases her precision 10× over. In a sense shes basically a flying machine gun, except the bullets follow u and each has the power of a grenade on impact. If that's not op, idk what is. Even if deku in theory is stronger, I guarantee you he will not come out victorious in the next fight. Either itll be some kind of draw and they'll both retreat or deku will straight up loose. But hes taking anything but a W. Solely becuz her being introduced with this much emphasis only to get clapped 2 chapters into her screentime is a waste of ink and paper💀 But who knows, maybe itll be like the muscular encounter🤷‍♀️

I believe that its been stated in the back story behind one for all. When people were given additional quirks. "some" couldn't handle the burden of multiple quirks, and turned into mindless dolls, just like the nomu. Izuku didn’t want to hurt him badly, but when he realized there was no choice, he did what he had to. There’s a difference in trying to talk people down and actually doing it. If he had a choice, he’d definitely try talk no jutsu. Lol. But he’s never actually done it or even tried to before. In the past, he just tried to stall villains. I hope to God that Horikoshi doesn’t do that. That’s one of the things I liked about his character.

I always took it as all for one has always been able to pass on one quirk to someone because of the flashbacks of him doing so in the past, but to pass on multiple quirks like the Nomu would require the body being altered somehow so they can actually take on that power, because if you think about it by the time OFA reached the second user it was technically already a combination of two quirks, his original one making it 3. But idk I've seen people with all kinds of theories about how it works, that's just how I always thought about it.

Remember: OfA was created by OfA by pushing a secondary quirk into his brothers body. This means that his power-transfer quirk has the potentiall ability to fuse quirks together, making them one like Todorokis fire and ice.

I have a question, does Lady Nagant have 3 quirks? I know she has the snipe quirk and the air propulsion quirk given to All for One, but what about that quirk when she automatically opened the door when Overhaul escaped back in Tartarus?

I’ve been under the impression that as long as the quirk AFO gives compliments the users natural born quirk it wouldn’t effect them tremendously. Here’s an example, we’ll use Shigaraki’s decay and the hyper regeneration that came along with AFO; both of those quirks counteract against one another so it would strain and stress his body more than say if he had Overhaul’s quirk implanted within himself. Overhaul’s quirk is like the perfect mixture between both Decay & a regeneration/restoration type quirk so I think it’d compliment his decay better than just the regeneration. Edit: Just want to say again though this is just my own personal line of thinking or something akin to a theory so don’t look at it as gospel or whatever.

If we really consider the Two Heroes movie canon than AFO gave the antagonist of that film a second quirk in that power booster quirk that he had on top of his magnetism quirk. I'm pretty sure AFO can give people more than one, but the human body isn't capable of maintaining that extra load without scientific alterations via nomu, genetic hybridization like Todoroki, or special cases like Deku and OFA. Lady Nagant could still suffer some long term consequences too having two quirks and using them at the same time might speed that up.

I think Lady Nagant's body hosts a powerful quirk and can therefore hold a second quirk - however having 2 quirks (OFA) is said to kill people naturally at a young age, so it may be similar for her and she doesn't know it
