I liked original Delenn, I felt it was a bit silly and pandering to tv executives how they changed her to be a pretty human looking minbari. However I’ve since learned the actor asked for less make up so I can sympathise to a degree. That being said Gkar had to wear all that makeup for years! At any rate we can’t change it now, delenn was what delenn was, still a great show either way.

I remember in an episode after Delenn’s transformation she had so much trouble coping with her long hair that she had to ask Susan Ivanova how to manage it. Apparently the Minbari had daily ritual washing of their heads and bone crests but unfortunately it had made her new hair a completely tangled mess.
