Thank you soooo much! I used to do a lot of cooking in my late teens and early twenties and I kind of burnt myself out to the point where I just started to despise having to cook. I’m now 35 and as of late, I’ve been wanting to get back into the kitchen, but all of those delicious dishes I made from scratch are just gone. I have developed a mental illness and I can’t remember how to make a lot of things. I searched online for a recipe but most of them used either cake batter or just a top layer of crust. I’ve always made my cobbler with a lot of crust (the best part) and I couldn’t remember how I did it. This is exactly how I used to make my cobblers. Again thank you so much for sparking a memory in this brain of mine. Much love to you. I must also say, you have one of the most beautiful spirits. This..looks..absolutely addictive! I think I'ma have to add your version to my holiday dessert menu. Before finding your version, I made a triple crust one with canned peaches & sliced strawberries a few months ago (Layer 1 - crust on bottom; followed by filling; Layer 2 - pieces of a full crust, broken up & placed on top of that 1st filling; next, more filling; Layer 3 - crust cut into strips & placed on top, first horizontal, then only one way diagonally cuz I didn't have enough crust to do it twice 😉 But believe me when i say I'll be sure I have enough crust next time!!
