9:48 Just a tip, when using that type of peeler, try putting your thumb of the hand holding the peeler on the side closest to you of the fruit, and pull the peeler towards your thumb, it works much better that way.

I’m not a peach person but my son and husband are. My dad has a white peach tree and he let us pick as many as we could. They ate a lot of them but we also purée a lot of them to make peach margaritas and baking.

What kind friends you have! And what a harvest! All of your dishes look delicious. When I used to make wine (in smaller amounts) when I was in college, I used a gallon jug and put a Punch Ball over the top. When it quit expanding, the wine was ready LOL

My favorite peach dish is a bowl of hot cereal with a handful of dehydrated peaches that have been rehydrated in the cereal. .They soften as the cereal cooks and they add enough sweetness for me to just top with a little cinnamon. I then don’t have to feel guilty about eating a sweet breakfast…meanwhile the rest of the family can add brown sugar or dairy to theirs.♥️🤓

I recently had a fresh peach salsa that was delicious. Peaches, tomatoes, mango, onions and I think pineapple ( or at least the juice). Probaly something else that I can't remember, but it was refreshing.

Other than the peach wine, we enjoy all that you have shared today. This year, we made peach mango salsa for the first time. I think that we will be making more. This batch won't last long. I love that your entire family is involved in the harvest!

Peach salsa and peach BBQ sauce! There are just 3 of us here so making a peach pie or cobbler means we each eat WAY more than we should! At least with the salsa and BBQ, it gets canned in small servings. I did make a couple 1 serving cobblers in ramekins though cause I just couldn't help myself! We freeze dry peaches for a crunchy sweet snack too.

Yum. You made such delicious recipes. Last year I made peach based Worcestershire sauce because my one producing peach tree that is likely a self sown one, isn't nice for eating but it made incredibly good Worcestershire. The yummy peaches ,I Bottle plain and made cordial from the peels. Thank you for sharing lovelies ❤❤

💯 I made peach scrap jelly a few weeks ago. My granddaughter (who only likes grape jelly) and my daughter who thinks peaches taste like “cat pee” both LOVE it. 😋 It’s delicious as a meat glaze as well.

95% of the peach orchards lost their produce from the cold snap we had in early spring. I was lucky to 18 peaches off of my lone peach tree.
