I've never had turkey necks until I moved out to the country 12 yrs ago then I've only ate it once toe the turkey necks I've had had a lot of bones in it I've never seen anyone do it it like u did it it looks so amazing I might have to give it another shot. Thank you. I would never have thought to use smoked turkey necks. Will definitely try this. Mr. Make It Happen has labeled me "the pork patrol." I am. I just use beef sausage links, Banquet brand. Break it up into small pieces and add a little oil. Brown them a little to flavor the oil. Would then brown the turkey necks into that sausage and oil. Works out the same.

Oh my gosh, this brings back so many memories of my dad and I! When he cooked turkey at Thanksgiving, we were the only two who fought over the roasted turkey necks! They were so flavorful, others thought this were useless but he and I enjoyed them. I definitely will try this recipe as we do get smoked necks during the holidays at the stores here. Will freeze them up and try your version of cooking them and think of my late dad while eating.
