Loved this video. We were in Buffalo and headed over to Hamilton for a couple days. Had a wonderful time and tried the poutine at Smoke's and a Beavertail. We had never heard of Beavertail so it was a nice treat. We knew we wanted some poutine and remembered you guys sharing Smoke's. Oddly enough we were in Canada when I saw the video about your trip to the Caribbean. Hope you both have a wonderful time in Punta Cana. Looks amazing! So glad you guys were able to get out and explore again. Look forward to following you all over the place again :) Happy travels.

Wow that's a lot of food and looked very yummy, especially the potato pizza. I'm originally from Quebec and so years ago I tried a Smokes Poutine in Ontario and I was offended. It was not a proper poutine. Not enough gravy and the gravy was a dark brown gravy rather than a poutine gravy. But the one you had looked good. So maybe Smokes has since upped their game.

Visitors need to be aware on the Canadian East coast - the local restaurants will shamelessly rip you off on seafood dishes like it's the most rare and precious meat on earth - perhaps even more than Wagyyu steak. For example the oceans in these parts are full of lobster and various kinds of fish, but you can get a few small scraps of lobster for $20-30. Seafood chowder is a ripoff too, typically containing 50% potatoes and then some scraps of fish, typically $12-20.
