Why don’t you put an application on the center of the monitor? It’s a little bit strange that you use it like 2 27 inch monitors and then complain about turning your head a lot. The idea i think is to use central space for main tasks and sides for additional windows.

Thanks for your comments. Because my work requires me to constantly have multiple applications open at once (i.e. web browser, OneNote, excel, Teams, another web browser, Word) during any given minute each one of those applications could be “most important” so I would constantly be moving that application to the middle which isn’t practical for the way I work. I can see this monitor being great for others that don’t have the same requirements or work style.

the LG has more curvature, 1800R vs 3800R and is the same panel since Dell uses the LG for this model

Why not the Samsung crg9 ? Has a more aggressive curvature compared to this dell monitor or the new g9 if you want an even more aggressive curvature. So far loving the super ultra wide life. Got myself a crg9 and love it! Can never go back lol

the LG has more curvature, 1800R vs 3800R and is the same panel since Dell uses the LG for this model, it's the same cuvature as the Samsung's minus the newer G9 that wraps around you like a blanket, but that is VA instead of IPS.

try the 8K 55" TV if you can get your hands on it. It's about the same size as four 27's

I don’t have the best vision. Was it the text clear and easy to read? I’m coming from a 5k iMac

I think text legibility was excellent on this panel. I haven’t used a 5k iMac before but 1440p 27” with the 150 scaling setting in Windows is the sweet spot for me after trying several 4K displays. For me it is about finding the right balance of screen size, panel quality, resolution and scaling. This panel does a great job on all of those fronts I only went back to multiple 27” monitors for the reasons mentioned in the video. Hope that helps!

Hey what the text like and icons on desktop is it nice and sharp not blurry. I am developer that needs a lot space for multiple tasking but I want to make sure that the text looks great while typing and reading. Sometimes for Photoshop

Hi, it’s been a while since I used this setup but I’d say text sharpness and clarity while sitting so close on a scale of 1-10 was about an 8.
