Merci pour votre avis! Si vous souhaitez soutenir la chaîne, vous pouvez aimer, vous abonner ou les deux ! En ce qui concerne votre question, absolument pas mon ami, vous pouvez placer n'importe quoi Mhz ou GB et cela fonctionnera parfaitement sans aucun problème. Assurez-vous simplement d'obtenir au moins un 2666 MHz et le bios s'ajustera automatiquement, car celui que vous avez son 2666 et le bios ajusté au 2133. alors ne t'inquiète pas mon ami.

You are using 1rx16 single ranked ram with 2rx8 dual ranked ram that came pre installed. How is it affecting your performance? Why aren'tyou using both dual ranked ram, as 1rx8 or 2rx8 rather than mixing and matching

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: there is no issue with mixing both SR and DR rams, we do get brand new work station laptop that get shipped with mixed SR +DR. in a laptop its totally fine and pc and servers too even : in some cases when using a large amount of memory such as 16GB, servers motherboards actually require you to use a mix of Single and Dual Rank Memory.

Always use two sticks, as this will automatically activate dual-channel mode, which provides better performance compared to using a single larger stick.

@@uFixTek Hi thank you for your interest, the problem was fixed I remove the two memories and interchanged both, I verified the connections and thats it! Maybe was a problem with the connection of the memory in the slot. Work with 16gb instead 8gb dont give more velocity but it will give you a smoothier experience when you use your laptop. Thank you!

@@11453731 Hi Eric, did you get a single 16GB stick or dual 8GB stick? Mine came with 8GB and I got another 8GB Ram from Crucial but the laptop wouldn't turn on when I install the second 8GB Ram I got from Crucial. Also, if you did get another 8GB stick, does it have to be same brand?

The Amazon link is wrong. The E4740 needs a 260-pin DDR4 not 240.

sorry but there can't be sdram ddr4 on 240pin all sdram ddr4 are 260pin the link its for ddr4 and the we have purchased them and they are compatible. maybe you click the ddr3 option inside the seller link, but here are another rams that are compatible and do work too. imgur.com/a/bSJJMt8 amzn.to/38X3jlk
