you can install 2 HDD/SSD in this model but once you want to use 2 you will need to buy an adapter/caddy to use SSD or HDD instead of the optical drive(dvd) but there is also room for a msata 2 ssd i have the same model with a SSD and a mSata ssd and i left the optical drive becase i use it sometimes

Yes you should be fine since it is an intel processor as well as a supported board. However you will need to reapply thermal paste on the processor. I do recommend getting an opinion from Dell tech support.

27 screws to remove one hard drive.. Way to go Dell.... 😞 Lets not forget to mention, the stock mount screws for the hard drive itself are very tight; (not sure what inch pounds Dell used, but the unit I took apart was way too tight. There is absolutely no reason to tighten a hard drive that tight, so be careful when removing.
