Great video, I have been planning on upgrading my NVMe drive/chip/card [whatever you wish to call it ;-)], next week, and so I went and watched your video [amongst a few others], and then went and cracked open my rig to find that I already have the 56W battery AND the drive caddy in my rig, so I only needed to order the rubber bumpers and SATA adapter cable! I had already ordered a replacement NVMe drive to replace the old one, so I'll still go ahead with that and then use a spare 250GB as a "D "drive as well. Thank you again!!

Caspian, there are no dumb questions! If you use an SSD or a classic HDD is all the same as long as the drive you use has a SATA interface. If you already have a SSD in your laptop the bootspeed and program loading speed will not improve. If you have a mechanical HDD then you'll certainly experience a huge difference. The reason is the much better access and read/write speed of a SSD compared to q mechanical HDD.
