small critique: If you are going from 6x10 to 3x5, you are doing 25% of the previous volume, not half

half the volume of hard working sets close to failure, that's what we care about pertaining to fatigue and adaptation rather than volume in terms of total number of reps

6x10 down to 3x5 would be 60 reps down to 15, so you did a quarter of the volume not half?

well intensity of the set is similar, so its more like 3 sets vs 6 sets than 60 reps vs 15 reps

@@andrewbain2755 idk what the difference in his weights were compared to last week and deload week, but if intensity stayed the same, lets say he did 6x10 for 300, and has now changed to 3x5 for 300, that's still not half volume. Total volume is sets x reps, and you can go one step further and times that by the weight lifted as well. So it's not really 3 sets vs 6 sets if the reps also change

This is just an observation btw, not saying it's the wrong thing to do, they know what they're doing hahaha the goal is to reduce volume by a lot which they've done
