I read the Cursed Child today. I loved and hated it. I wish Delphini would have saw her father even if it was just once. I'm hoping she will one day break out of Azkaban and have a son that incarnates the soul of Voldemort. I guess the story was so lackadaisical I'm left to create scenarios of my own.

Tom Riddle would have killed her on the spot, seeing her as a threat to his power. Lord Voldemort, in his original body in full 1st Wizarding War mode, would not have listened to her and blasted her to death.

I know right? I really wish they could have met. I really think it Voldemort knew her, she might have made him stronger using her infatuation with him as this father she knew from stories of his deeds to propel him to greater heights. Perhaps then he'd kill her

Even then at least she would have been content for some time knowing her father, working along side him...I wish Lord Voldemort was real, I would go to Azkaban proudly knowing who I served never Turing away from him or forgetting his desire to live and rule all which would propel him to immortality. Never would I lose faith in one such being as him...

I’ve always felt like Delphi’s story is extremely sad and this song fits her perfectly. She tried so hard to get her father back and she got so far, but in the end it didn’t matter, because she was locked up in Azkaban.

Delphini would not take the surname Riddle for reasons which don't need explaining. I think she would take her mother's maiden name Black or even Gaunt if she had a choice. But she does not so she got lumped with Delphine Lestrange. If fact we are never told what her surname is in the play not once.

she used the surname Diggory while interacting with Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, but she is in no way related to Cedric's family logically, her surname would be Riddle, but You Know Who hated his real name and would never allow his child to have it, so Delphini either took up the married surname of her mother, Lestrange, or used her mother's maiden name, Black, or used the Gaunt name
