Was it ever stated in The Cursed Child that Voldemort intended to produce a child? It may sound crude but Voldemort could still have had a sex drive despite being unable to feel love. Hence his smashing of Bellatrix. The Weasleys show that contraception probably wasn't a thing in the wizarding world so inevitably she'd get pregnant. I don't think Voldemort would care about Bellatrix having a kid as long as it didn't cause any problems or get in the way of Bellatrix's death eater duties. It would be totally irrelevant to Voldemort that it was his child. Voldemort being horny and giving Bellatrix one every now and then makes more sense than him desiring an heir. By definition an immortal person can't have an heir.

Can you make a video about the architecture and layout of Hogwarts in the books? The layouts we see in the movies are multiple buildings with more than seven floors. In the books locations at Hogwarts are mostly referred to by one of seven floors. So there seems to be a huge difference between them.

Nope. He'd lost the ability once the peice of Voldemort inside him had died, and this actually caused even more controversy over The cursed child because due to Delphinie's presence (And mind you, she's Voldemort's Daughter. Not even him) he (Harry) was suddenly able to speak parseltongue all over again and his scar was hurting and stuff like that, that according to the HP books should have stopped as soon as the horcrux in Harry was dead. It's part of what makes CC so problematic. It wasn't due to Voldemort being alive that Harry could talk to snakes and see into the guy's mind. It was due to the piece of old noseless here being alive in Harry that gave him this ability. So it doesn't matter if Voldy (or his daughter) is alive or dead, what matters is that a part of the man lives inside Harry. And in the CC that part is non-existent soooo the whole thing is simply not right. Hope this clears things up for you and glad I can help ❤️

Yay 2 videos in 1 week! I don't see why The Cursed Child receives so much grief. I grew up with the books, went to all the midnight releases/parties (at Hastings, barnes and noble, Smith's) for the books and movies and was excited when the book version came out. When I read it my first impression was that it felt like fanfiction, but it was still an enjoyable read so I don't understand the hate about it myself. As Always thank you for the video, I enjoyed it 👍🏻. How about a video on Felix Felicis, how it's made, why you can't take it all the time, and how it helped in the battle of Hogwarts. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but to say they're not a true Harry Potter fan because they enjoy The Cursed Child seems harsh and unjust. FYI, I was at every Harry Potter midnight book release, read each book more then 30 times or more (to the point of memorizing passages, spells, potions), was one of the first in line for theater tickets the day the movies were released (waiting hours sometimes), I also was there for every dvd midnight movie release. Yet according to you, I wouldn't "qualify" as a true Harry Potter fan because I like The Cursed Child? 😂 I guess that's why the play failed? Oh wait, it thrived. Perhaps you should, "turn to page three hundred and ninety-four," before you judge others based on what they like to read. In the end books create world's you can escape to and feelings that create empathy/sympathy. Harry Potter saved my life in a way you could never understand and I am a true fan. I have a theory. I think that Bellatrix being Delphini's mother was a lie as part of a death-eater cover-up. I believe Delphini's true mother was Nagini. I think that the latent humanity left from Nagini's pre-curse human form and the horocrux soul piece Voldemort placed within her, plus a little bit of the fact that Nagini was the closest thing to which Voldemort ever felt anything resembling love caused the snake to produce an egg from which Delphini was born. Voldemort likely claimed the child as his own and the remaining death eaters after Voldemort's fall who knew the truth created this conspiracy to hide the fact that their master seemingly a snake. This not only seems more in line with Voldemort's personality to me than him having a physical relationship with Bellatrix; it also explains how nobody ever noticed Bellatrix was pregnant during any of the battles during the time she should have been pregnant.

I really liked The Cursed Child. Everyone’s like, “Voldemort can’t feel love, he can’t have children!” But like…I was pretty under the impression that many children are not created out of love?? And you don’t have to be in love with someone to be with them in that way?? So yeah not saying it’s right or good or that he and Bellatrix became a happy little family with baby Delphini but it’s possible that she was born despite that lol. I think Voldemort wanted to make sure the line of Slytherin never died. And yeah, it wouldn’t die if he lived forever, but it would also just be him. *sigh, ok let me preface this with I know how insane this sounds. Delphi and I are the same age (I suspect we share a birthday; I was born under the constellation Delphinus the same year Bellatrix escaped from Azkaban, and this was 8.5 months after that) and all of the detailed fan art I’ve seen of her looks...well, I’ll be blunt. When I show it to people with a picture of me alongside it they tell me if it wasn’t for the silver hair they would say it’s the same picture. We have the same sense of style and personality as well. I’m personally not a huge fan of the Cursed Child’s story but this...is insane. I just had to throw that out there. Oh and we share a last name, of course. Mark Santos Just because J.K. Rowling says something is cannon in an interview or on Twitter doesn’t make it cannon. She also said Hermione wasn’t necessarily white even though it said rather clearly “Hermione’s white face” in Prisoner of Azkaban. J.K. Rowling also did not write the cursed child, Jack Thorne actually wrote it. It is not part of the original story portrayed in the seven books. Therefore, it isn’t cannon. You might think it is, and that’s fine. But I along many many MANY other HP fans believe it is not.

Mark Santos As a book yes. Which is why I don’t consider it cannon. Too many things that just don’t make sense in regards to what was in the original seven books. I’ve only read the screenplay and I haven’t seen the actual play, but I’ve heard the play is pretty decent production wise. But Harry Potter is a book series and not a screenplay. So, that’s why I see it as its own entity instead of the “eighth book” follow up to the original story.
