@@wben7833 entitled? how? They claimed the game was coming for console in "early q1 2025". Its early q1 2025. They showed a roadmap of the upcoming releases and content but there's zero mention of console release on there. They have done multiple interviews and are very cagey whenever console questions come up. It's just leaving a lot of doubt and unanswered questions for the console community who were told the the game would be availabe within the next several weeks. As a potential customer of their product what am I supposed to think at this point? Explain to me how I said anything that would make me entitled.

But according to the devs, Console release is supposed to be out in the next several weeks at the latest and we havent seen any of it, they dont talk about it, the barely answer questions about it and its not shown on their roadmap etc. If anything, you should understand exactly what I'm saying then..

I’ve always had a gut feeling that Delta Force will never release onto console with PC being the main primary platform of choice and Mobile being a side hustle platform for Team Jade to extract extra money. I had this same gut feeling with World War 3 from FARM 51, with that game, FARM 51 used the revenue they got from the 2018 original release of World War 3 to develop their Chernobylite survival game. They left the World War 3 to rot, years went by with no updates or communication from FARM51.

Frankly, I blame the guy asking the question! Basically, his question was, "bla bla bla bla, console release." As a wise man once told me: "start with the conclusion." The question should have been "When is the console release?" - short and to the point. Then Shadow wouldn't have been able to dodge the question.

@USA_Specialist exactly. By the way, thank you for speaking openly about the issue with console release. I am getting tired of people downplaying it and just saying "stop crying, be patient". It's not about crying, it's about respect to the playerbase. Instead of focusing on releasing the game on all major platforms, the devs released it on PC and it is obvious that their focus now is milking their PC playerbase with paid cosmetics!

​@USA_Specialist one good thing, at least they didn't delay the console release. If they decided to delay mobile version and they decided to announce it officially, it would only make sense for them to also announce console delay if this was the case. So there is still hope. But you are right, their current course is not the correct one. Instead on focusing on delivering the full package to all major platforms, they focus on making a quick buck from PC fans. Unfortunately, this has always been a major issue with F2P games.

Nah, the hype will grow again when they announce the release again. Maybe you don’t know but phasmophobia was delayed like an year on consoles, everyone complaining about the realease and telling that the hype was already dead, but it’s one of the most downloaded on consoles already

@@takticaltommy Well the next Battlefield game is supposed to be coming out this year and if it ends up being a good game, I'm not too sure how hype for this game will happen again. I lost interest. Us console players have been snubbed. They're starting to make the same mistake like Battlefield 2042 did. They're adding a grapple gun in the game where you can pull your enemies to you. Initially I was really excited for this game, but it's basically Battlefield 2042 all over again.

I'm losing more hype everyday and I wont play this if It comes on summer on consoles. I'll lose all the hype then and Will be playing Verdansk or the Battlefield, anyways this feels a copy of Battlefield 2042 but with better maps

@@KirklandShunk still a way better version than Battlefield 2042. You guys say that but when the game finally launches I don’t believe you will say no to a free game. The game is great and for me the extraction side is better. But they have events every week, new ways to win something free. I know the frustration about nothing good coming to console but I had the best decision of saving for a pc. At this point, consoles are getting worst games than pc

When they talked about the dolphin dive and showed the keybinds in the menu, there was a new Controller tab next to the current Mouse & Keyboard tab. So hopefully controller support is not too far away.

They’re banking that there will be more mobile micro transaction then on console. Microsoft even said two years ago that they wanted to focus Xbox more on mobile. I feel like Next Gen consoles and games the last 5 years have all been duds.

I don’t know why they refuse to talk about the most requested thing ever… I’m ok because I bought a pc in the beta test and was the best thing I made, but i know the frustration of some people on console about this game. We don’t have nothing like this on consoles and it sucks

I'm almost certain mobile will happen first - Tencent owns things like CoD Mobile and really focuses on the Chinese market. Thus that's my worry - that consoles will happen after mobile which in now scheduled for summer.

If the mobile version releases this Summer, and the console version around fall or later, it's going to hurt the game significantly. Them not commenting at all about the console release isn't a good sign in my opinion, but I hope I am wrong. Battlefield is set for a new release this year and if it ends up being solid, nobody will care about this game, at least I won't...I already lost the interest I initially had with this game. I just found out they're adding a grapple gun into multiplayer in Season 2 where you can pull your enemies to you, which is beyond stupid. This game initially looked like what I wanted Battlefield 2042 to be, and it really did look a lot better of a game. More gritty, realistic, and a serious tone, at least more than 2042 offered. Now it's pretty much a repeat of 2042 with the annoying ass specialist abilities. I really do hope this next Battlefield is a banger 🙏

Basically my feelings for DF Console: mid 2024: Ooh new game! I’ll ignore it though mid 2024: extraction and replacement for DMZ? I want it! mid 2024: it’s going to be soon? yippe! late 2024: oh, it’s just for pc? ok. early 2025: mobile soon on jan 20? that must be when console releases too! early 2025: delayed to summer? WHAT THE ****!?!?!! THE GAME HAS BEEN POLISHED ON PC AND EVEN MOBILE, JUST SUPPORT ON BUTTONS AND JOYSTICKS AND BOOM, CONSOLE!!

I suspect last-gen console versions got scrapped despite promising, in 2025 with 5 years this November the current-gen will be *5 years old*. Frankly releasing cross-gen games in this day and age would be pathetic TBVH.

the game is overhyped anyway, the Operators and thier abilities are 10x worse and more annying than BF2042 Specialists. it's beyond me how this game gets praised so much by the same people who bash on BF 2042. (speaking of the Warfare mode, i get the extraction mode might be better because the abilities are less present there)

Yeah, I wish the game was a little more down to Earth. That's why I'm a big fan of Insurgency Sandstorm, it's very much boiled down the basics of FPS.

The reason everyone has eyes on it is the fact that it's free to play. Sure, microtransactions are the worst I've ever seen, but the game mechanics are fairly decent enough. Look at it this way, it's the game DICE wanted BF2042 to be, and this game being F2P makes BF2042 obsolete, at least that's the idea I'm getting.

It initially interested me because it looked more gritty, realistic, and a more serious tone. Now I found out they're adding a grapple gun in Season 2 where you can pull your enemies to you. How lame is that? I lost all of my interest, but you're right, its a 2042 clone and nothing more.

Just get a PC. I was a console pleb, got tired of ALL the good games coming out in PC decades ago. I started a leap of faith. pC gaming is well worth it, intimidating at first but well worth it and once you have one and learn about them it’s easy. Well worth the money. #SaveDatBag
