This is honestly probably my favorite track in all of Deltarune. A lot of people think "A CYBER'S WORLD" is better, and honestly, it's hard to pick between the two, but this one has so much nostalgia to it. And I absolutely LOVE the middle part with the "Don't Forget" leitmotif. It's the first time we hear it in the Dark World. It really solidifies the game. This is where your journey begins. Not exaggerating, I think this song is Toby's best work. The way it keeps going, adding instruments and melodies that keep building and building, until it slows down. Then it tricks you into thinking the song's about to end before slapping you in the face with a sick-ass sax solo? I mean, what more could you ask for? It's fantastic!! I've listened to this track hundreds of times and yet, every time I put it on it's as fresh as the first time it dared to grace my ears with it's melodical perfection.

I feel like they both perfectly reflect the worlds they play in too. They both are the first song you hear upon entering their respective Chapter's Dark World proper, and are a musical sort of first impression. This one feels lighthearted and whimsical, representing a fantasy world made of playing cards, chess pieces and toys brought to life, Cyber's World is a lot more punchy and energetic, perfect for a world that takes place in the Dark-World version of cyberspace.

Before Deltarune, i began to hate undertale due to the toxic minority of it's fandom. For months i've gone from liking the game to hating it, but i thought this was it, i officially hated undertale. Deltarune came out and i didn't want to play it, i didn't want to play something made by toby fox at all. Around 2 weeks into the game's release and i thought "this thing is everywhere, why not try it out." I loved it, Deltarune is the reason why Undertale is my favourite game franchise of all time. To this day I still replay undertale and deltarune. I thank Toby for creating such a great demo that made me a fan of your games again. Update: If Deltarune wasn't a demo, it would be my favorite game of all time thanks to Chapter 2's release.

Undertale had made a huge impact on my life since I first knew it, it is my #1 fav game for me (Deltarune is probably like the #4 fav since it’s not done yet) and I never gave a single crap about the toxicity of it. Simply you don’t have to like the fandom to like the game. :)

Probably one of the most recognisable themes in DT, super nice too. Such a contrast to the rest of the game up until this point as well, i think that's super cool. The juxtaposition of the colder, more serious sounding music (albeit lancer is an exception) and then being hit with this feels so surreal but i love it

best song toby fox has made, something about it is so good and it actually makes me tear up occasionally even. this song reminds me of my really early years, and despite being only a seventh through my life, they still feel so far away. listening to this song is like reaching deep down into my memory and remembering some of the best times of my life, my biggest highlights, biggest achievements, etc. How does a song manage to be somber, incredible, and motivating at the same time? I have no idea, but toby has made it, and goddamn has he done it well. Undertale may have had a very good soundtrack, but it looks like some baby stuff compared to this. none of the songs in Undertale hit THIS hard, but they still do sound great and are pretty nostalgic. toby is an absolute GENIUS, and if Undertale wasn't recognized for the masterpiece it was, my life would not have been as good, since most of my memories from the more recent half of my life are from Undertale, its gameplay, characters, story, and art style. without Undertale, Deltarune would not have been popular, therefore, I wouldn't have songs like this to cheer me up in times where i need it. Thank you, toby (guarantee you aren't seeing this since it isn't your channel) for making this absolutely BEAUTIFUL song, and the absolutely INSANE games.
