I played Undertale when I was.. Around twelve, 2015-16.. It's been so long since I first played Undertale, but it's still really hard to listen to this without shedding a small tear. Playing Deltarune is like having a childhood friend come for tea. All these years later, they've changed and grown.. - They've changed, but every time you talk, the memories of who you were together come flooding back. The core, the.. Soul.. remains the same; You have a great time pulling the same jokes together, have the same childish ideas.. You're just not kids anymore. Maybe this is because I played it as a kid and am no longer (legally) a kid anymore.. Undertale being my childhood friend is a literal metaphor, but it's a metaphor nonetheless. Goddamn, how this series heals my inner child. I can't thank Toby enough.
