Demi is literally a prime example to what the industry is music and acting does to child stars. They treat these kids as adults and as if they have no issues. I'm 19 and I grew up watching Disney and listening to Demi, and when I was around 12/13 and I started to understand her problems while starting to deal with anxiety... later on, I realized how much her music, films, and message were important to me, throughout my whole teenage years. And I remember everything since listening to Sober for the first time to get to know that she was at the hospital almost dead, it was devastating, I cried so much and prayed so hard for her. I don't always agree with her, and I don't listen to her new music a lot but she is a big part of me, she helped me a lot and I'll always love her and be grateful to her.

The fact that her song about her overdose starts with “Just a little red wine, I’ll be fine” and now she’s saying she’s drinking in “moderation” again 😬 Something tells me this whole “California sober” thing she’s got going isn’t going to end well for her.

The main thing to support her and not criticize
@tamekaraeann3 жыл бұрын
@@yuvalgerhard8169 I’m not criticizing, I’m observing. Drinking led her to heroin before, why would it not now? She’s free to do whatever she wants, but she’s clearly still using substances to cope which isn’t going to end well. She said it herself in the documentary, she’s using the substances to get “relief”. If you’re a recovering addict and still using substances as a way to cope then you’re not in a place where you can use in moderation. She’s still too dependent. It’s not going to end well.

@@tamekaraeann It's not a simple thing you know She knows what she's doing and she'll take care of herself and hope it's okay It is better to support and try to say things Good and not think bad
@tamekaraeann3 жыл бұрын
@@yuvalgerhard8169 I’m very aware addiction isn’t simple. You’re the one making it simple. “Let’s all just be happy; think good things not bad things and everything will be okay”. That is not how the real world of addiction works. It’s not sunshine and butterflies. Supporting someone doesn’t mean kissing their ass and acting like everything’s going to be fine. Sometimes to support people, you need to be honest, realistic, and not enable them. The people around her, whether they see it or not, are enabling her. It’s sad because that isn’t what she needs right now. She doesn’t need a bunch of “employees” telling her she’s fine.
@orangeworm3 жыл бұрын
i'm also kinda worried but it would be difficult, and in extreme cases, fatal, to cut cold turkey. i hope "moderation" is truly moderation.

i think demi is more than a survivor but a whole fighter. she overdosed twice and survived twice. what’s sad to me is how she felt towards her body tryna fit “beauty standards” when i looked up to her because i’m a thick male. demi has always been and always will be my #1 popstar because she is the true definition of redemption. i was binging confident and TMYLM since mid 2017 and for her to overdose a year after just makes me cry because she didn’t deserve any of it. i hope she knows now that the lovatics are always gonna be there for her and she is never alone. This documentary was great and I think it's incredible that she can really tell everything that happened to her, it talks about very important topics that are usually avoided. It made me want to support her even more, but, after the incident at the yogurt shop it's like I don't know anymore, she makes progress in some things and loses herself in others.

People make mistakes, it happens, and she came and apologized, you honestly think the apology is not true but she really apologized She did not do it to destroy The business! It was really hard for her and it hurt her and hurt her because she is going through difficulties as you know she realized she was wrong and apologized And the business is not hurt but only much more successful Why judge people for mistakes? 10 years she does everything she can For other people she has a really huge heart Forget everything she's been doing for 10 years because of one mistake I do not understand you disgusting
@irinasibona84103 жыл бұрын
@@yuvalgerhard8169 I am not saying at all that she is not allowed to make mistakes, it's something normal for everyone, it just gives me the feeling that now she has taken this position of "I don't shut up anymore, I do wherever I want" and she doesn't think much in what that really means, if you don't want to be part of the media world, perfect, but if you are going to continue being a famous person that people idialize, you have to be careful. Again, it's just the vibes i got from her, a person that i have follow since the beggining ant it hurts me to see her in all of this.
