@@demishellen It's perfect for me because you are showing your work, so to speak. Sound design and the dark arts of synthesizers are things I have struggled with and Vital is the first synth I have truly adopted and got into the nitty-gritty with. It's an astonishing beast. I look forward to the next "lesson"

I have Arps in Vital and serum coming soon for trance. Synths can look daunting at first but a little repetitive persistence gets results. Sticking to Vital is a good move too, once you grasp it you can take the knowledge to the next one. 👍🏻

There are builtin features for arpeggios (note snap) and those "envelopes" at 3:19 can actually be made by just clicking that brush tool next to the numbers that say 8 - 1 and clicking/dragging inside the lfo grid

To make the triangles on LFO2 instead of creating each point, click on the brush, select a saw down and just click and drag. Even 32 bars gets easy.

Greg, Not sure if your question was about the staircase figure in the LFO grid? If it was: In the LFO area, click your mouse where it says 'triangle' . A drop down opens up, select 'staircase down'. Now drag the dots in the grid around untill you copied the one in the tutorial. (Hover mouse pointer over dot, hold left mouse button down to drag dot and release mouse button at new destination) .

How do you create the 5th and 6th LFO?
@spoolyanddanalixdnb2 жыл бұрын
In what instance would you actually use Sync mode with the LFO?
@demishellen2 жыл бұрын
Well trigger is so everything starts at the beginning for sequences. I would use sync to modulate the fine tune or panning where you don’t want it to restart at the beginning every time you press a key. I would suggest trying both types on really intense panning to hear the differences. Sync will sound smoother 👍🏻

For cool effect for example in DnB genere where it can be used quite well.

I don't quite understand what Macros do. I mean, why not just link the multiple parameters to your LFO's/Enveloppes directly ? I don't get the difference
@demishellen2 жыл бұрын
Macros let you change or tweak the sound. Adding direct to a parameter is hard baking the preset to be that sound only.

using vital you could compose an entire song just from hitting one keystroke, It seems like. it would just be tons of effects and sliders and LFO's and incredibly hard to edit anything
