For me it’s the impact and clarity of the bass. The kick drum cuts through, the bass guitar notes on the reggae version of Floyd are so crisp and clear. No muddiness. Perfect

OEM HU has MOST150 digital integration, so i can play wav files through that or i use the Fiio DAP like in the video with HD BT module fitted in the DSP.

I just listened to the first part and I find it sounding a bit harsher in this 2nd part, competition tune maybe? It might also just be some of these songs recordings being brighter. I'm listening on highly resolving gear.

The music sounds surprisingly loud and clear, crystal clear and with a very well defined stage. Road noise is practically imperceptible and your voice is heard loud and clear. Excellent work!. What equipment was installed on the MB? Amplifiers, DSP, media set, subwoofer, etc.? How many microphones did they use to record the audio inside the car? What brand and model of microphones?

Sounds great! Have you worked on the Coupe version (C217)? The tweeter and mids are located lower on the doors and wonder how much more involved to get a sound like this or slightly more resolving. I'll be picking mine up in a month, sadly not in the UK and if I were, no question as to where I'd take it to get work done to it. Thank you for the demo, much appreciated.

Doing a MOST150 integration with a NAV-TV ZEN-M is a must, then feed it to a great DSP amp like a Helix P6 or V-EIGHT and you can get drastic improvements with a good tune even by keeping the OEM speakers.

@@pssound9749 Thanks for the response. I will be aiming for a "reference" system so all speakers will be upgraded, fully active with appropriate DSP and amplification. I would suspect a slight rainbow effect given its location, however I'm not too concerned. In addition, a similar subwoofer configuration like yours is what I also have in mind as I'd like to utilise the space and to keep the car looking OEM. Which AE sub are you running?

If you mean lack of detail, more lower midrange presence by laid-back, then this cars probably does not fall into that category. This one is very detailed and transparent on the top-end.

@@pssound9749 do you prefer tuning in forward or laid-back? Because I'm curious which is the best for SQ. In this video it's very nice and colourful SQ presentation and I love it.

@@nacooaokiee9093 forward is not the right word as some people may mean that some parts of the frequency range in mid-high is pushed “forward”. We tune linear with the needed rise at the bottom octaves to overcome the insensitivity of our ears. Watch the videos in the tuning playlist, then you get better idea about it.
