Demoing the Godin Rialto Jr Acoustic Guitar

I researched a lot of parlor guitars before settling on this one. I was not disappointed. It has great projection for such a small body and much less of the boxy compressed sound that generally characterize parlor guitars. The electronics are top notch making it sound more like an OM guitar through an amp. Not everyone likes the knobs on the front of an acoustic, but I kind of like the retro-modern look of it. Good quality parlor guitars start at $500 and go up from there. I got mine used for less than that. They are starting to down. Prices vary wildly so do shop around. Great instrument for finger style blues and roots music. I love it.

is there any other color in the making ? i wish they didnt paint the back of the neck in silver and kept it natural like the others of the line, kind of a deal breaker for me. I dig this guitar alot, great playability for fingerstyle blues but i actually prefer the art and lutherie vintage look. Can't decide between that and the Roadhouse denim blue q-discrete. Advice anyone ?

I have an Art & Lutherie parlor tennessee red one. It's been with me for almost 3 years now. The wood sounds just keep getting better when they age more. No regrets. Happy ending 👍🏼🎸

It's not, it's a 3 way laminated.

don't exactly see th point of this, to lower the tuning stability? seagulls already do this thing better.

Bad marketing I bought seagulls in the past now I just stick with Martin.
