Less old-timey ancient with a classical horror vibe, and more epic fantasy with generic strings and horns, and refined gregorian chanting/choir.

Sekiro is the rebellious nephew that struck out on his own and is fabulously wealthy, but doesn't come around anymore. Demon's Souls...DeS is the Grandfather that was presumed dead after spending 11 years in the hospital, but he's finally ready to come home.

This is exactly why I love Demons Souls the most out of all the souls games. Dark Souls is nice, but I feel like it missed the urgency of Demons, also It was WAYYYYY easier. Bonfires made it soooo easy to restore your souls and Estus was easy mode. I also hated how Dark Souls just kept repeating the same thing over and over again, it felt so redundant. Also, I don't like the color orange. :'(

I've been playing Dark Souls recently but I played demon's souls long before and even now wish that Dark Souls stuck with the story from demon's souls. It was such a fulfilling world despite the lack of cinematic plot scenes. For me the entire world WAS like the plot so I've never really understood people who say it doesn't have any story. I think it's one of the best story creations to this day in gaming because of the very fact that it doesn't need to emphasize the story. It just is.

I personally feel that the hardest souls game is the first one you play just because no matter what people say, nothing can prepare for the Souls experience. Ive played only Dark souls 1 and 2 and find 2 harder because I played it first. Going into Dark souls 1 I already had the Dark souls mindset that we develop after constantly getting killed.
