EVERY , I repeat, EVERY single target fight starts with Felguard storm, Immolate and HoG. After the fellstorm ends, you have to petswich using shadowburn/instant summ into felhunter You will get a nice haste buff. Then you put your Dots.

Lock turned out to be really bad in comparison. We run 8 raids a week, and no locks in any of them. Not that we don't have locks, we do, lots, but its frustrating to play if anybody else pups more or less double the dps with same gear level. I parked my lock, maybe MoP will be different, but for now no way. Video is nice, thumbs up

Beter on AOE dmg is Imolate coruption Bane Hand of G. for first target and Rain of Fire because H of G. give u 10% crit. Chance for Rain of fire this is easy aoe for me.

During execute phase if you get an incinerate proc do you ignore it and just keep dumping soul fires, while maintaining dots?

I go for AOE..and I'm learning. Felgaurd Spin to win > Incinerate > Meta > Immolate > Dots > Demon Leap > Immolation Aura > Hand of Guldan > Demon Breath > Incin repeat. But I'm not 85 yet

I main a lock and im thinking of parking them in cata. Just doesn't do the dps that any of my alts with worse gear do. I'm affliction but gonna try demo and see if it makes any difference. It's such a shame

Quick question, do I use Incinerate when i get a procc even below 25%? Or will I just always hammer soulfires when my target is below 25%

always use incinerate if it procs regardless of HP

I think incinerate, since molten core does no longer buff Soul Fire.

Great question that I was going to ask too, if the target is under 25% health would it actually be more beneficial to use three incinerates when molten core buff applies during the last 25% health, or would it be better just to continue casting soul fires since the target also has a debuff applied to reduce soul fire's casting by 40%. Incinerate damage is increased by 18% and casting speed reduced by 30% while soul fires do not receive a bonus in damage but have a 40% reducing in casting time, is that enough reason overall to weave incinerates when molten core is up into the last 25% health on target, or is it a net loss overall? Has anybody run simulations or is it a moot issue.

What's the point of explaining core rotation and completely avoiding the opener. Pet-twisting, snapshotting Doomguard, gear swapping were ignored and those are just from the top of my head. Also, bane of agony doesn't have a limit, you can put it on infinite amount of enemies, only doom can be active on one target.

because the opener is pretty advanced imo and theres lots of deep guides in there. it really doesnt fit the 20min type of guide videos from Javier (which are great for beginners + overview) but if you want to deep dive, theres the class discord or more
