If it comes to that, and you're a naturalized citizen who will be affected, you'll have plenty of time to sell as many of your possessions as possible, take whatever you can carry, and leave on your own terms before you suffer the indignity of getting dragged in handcuffs. Bonus if you're from Mexico (you can drive there and nationalize your vehicle once you get there), grew up over there long enough to know the language and culture, and have marketable skills (especially a trade). Employers in Mexico value bilingual people as well, so your potential to land a decent-paying job is not too shabby.

Even Al Jazeera published an article a few years ago explaining how Christians were becoming a minority in several Muslim-majority countries. Regarding Morocco, I found this information: "Morocco was ranked 24th among countries with a high level of persecution towards Christians, according to the World Watch List (WWL) 2024 issued by Open Door, a non-denominational Christian organization that supports persecuted Christians around the world.." Do Christians persecute people of other religions? I’m not aware of any Christian-majority country where Muslims or Hindus are persecuted. If you go to countries like Chile, Romania, Paraguay, or Slovenia, you’ll find mosques or places of worship for Hindus. I have never heard of non-Christians being forced to pay a tax in Christian-majority countries. I’ve never heard of non-Christians being barred from running for office in Christian-majority countries. I’ve never heard of a non-Christian being imprisoned or stoned to death for saying something offensive about Christians. (Just a few weeks ago, I read an article about a Christian mother in Pakistan who was sentenced to death for making an "offensive" comment about Islam online.) If non-Christians were being persecuted in Christian-majority countries, why would non-Christians immigrate to these nations?

The bar to denaturalization should be extraordinarily high. These are people who spent many years keeping their noses clean, paying taxes, and going through a stressful and invasive process to stay here permanently and take on all the responsibilities of being a citizen. The government should want these people to be here. They also usually take 6-24 months to approve an application, they have lots of time to research before approving, and they do query multiple agencies. Once someone makes it through to taking the oath the government should have to prove something very serious to bring a case.

This worries me. My wife is a naturalized citizen. She's lived and worked in the US since 2001. We have a 21 year old daughter who is a citizen by birthright. My wife holds dual citizenship. We plan to retire to the city where my wife grew up within the next 3 years, when we are both eligible for social security retirement income.
