I love the haunting melody of this song and Dennis Yost’s heartfelt interpretation of the lyrics. I’ve listened to this truly classic love song countless times since I first heard it as a high school senior in 1969 and have never grown tired of it. Two of the members of this band, Dean Daughtry (keyboards), and James B. Cobb, Jr. (guitar) went on later to become members of the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Great late 60's rock here with the Classics IV.

Dennis yost lead singer of the classic four. He died on Dec 8 2008. They never made a bad record .Dennis had a very distinctive Voice .

Always has been a beautiful amazing song. I wish you would cover another one of out all time endless songs from 1969.. Reflections Of My Life.. By Dean Ford & Marmalad. They just dont write songs like these anymore. R.I.P Dean....
