Nice video but there is a problem. integrated to the record box every music on the itunes few years ago. I made many memory and hot cue. How integrated to the engin softvear to remain previously set hot cue points ?

hello denon dj....i have a question......i have a denon dj mcx8000 and i have engine prime on my computer with my music on.....i load my music up on usb sticks then plug them into the usb slot,.....while playing i create cue points on my songs,....i then take out a usb stick to load more songs on and push the "export to mcx8000'' so that thay will show up.....but then realize all my cue points are gone??? what do i need to do to stop this problem.....cheers mate

When I buy songs from iTunes all I have to do in serato is click analyze and my serato library will be updated but not for engine prime.Why it can’t not be done the same way for engine prime.

Hi there, Engine Prime won't import doubles - worth checking this first. I hope this helps

@@DenonDJTV Thank you for your reply. I found out, that all songs bought before 2009 are protected by DRM and are not transferable. Thats what Apple tought me. There are two ways to get all songs to prime4. 1. Burning each song on CD to make a mp3 and importing those back to I-Tunes-Mediathek. Or 2.: buying I-Tunes-Match für 29.-Euro/Year and get all songs without DRM protection. But that don´t really works - don´t know why. Anyway THANKS for your answer!

just checked my iTunes and it's there. but my question is whether I'd be able to play all music from my playlists in iTunes, meaning including Apple Music streaming tracks vs just downloaded/purchased tracks

All my playlist are shown in Engine Prime but it can't import anything to the software 😔.... My library is in a NAS server but I have the music folder mapped locally into my PC. Any idea how can I manage this?

Try to drag playlists and won’t work, try to create crate the same. Any help please?

I have imported the iTunes library as a crate, and then imported the playlist and finally i drag the imported playlist to my USB stick and it packages up the files and moved them over. Took some fiddling but got there in the end. Not sure how to keep the crates synced as the iTunes library grows.

i used the right click option seen in the video 2:45-3:00. So click on the iTunes icon so see the various playlist and then right click to see the two import options. Select the import to crate will import the files.

That setting in iTunes is nowhere to be found on my laptop. Running the latest software on mac and engine prime ☹ Help!!!

Engine prime also doesn’t work with mixed in key a software that automatically set the hot cues for you and it work with serato.I love my sc5000 but engine prime software doesn’t work with anything ,that’s really irritating.

If I do as shown, all my crates and playlists in the collection are EMPTY. Tooltips would be nice too.

You know such a stunning desk but ducking USELESS software from Denon. You should make your software open source because you can’t sync this ducking device with your iTunes it loads half the songs then ignores the rest. Extremely irritating🤨
