Great video man I like so much this synesthesia Can i ask u a question? Do you prefere H90 than HX Stomp? cuz H90 has less effects to use in the same time than HX Stomp

To be honest I’ve only played an HX Stomp once. It sure kicks ass and many of my friends use the Stomp. I’m still exploring the H90 and so far it’s pretty great.

Do you find there's much of an overlap between the Ventris, the Synthesthesia, the LVX and the H90? They all seem to have settings that can do reverby sounds ... or do you only use certain sounds from each of them? It seems a wealth of sonic possibilities so how do you decide what each can do and what sounds you want from each? Also, the Source Audio EQ2 can have 128 MIDI presets, I think you said you could only select between one of the four user presets but using the Neuro editor allows you to change that, as well as sending CC messages to do things like filter sweeps to produce wah-like effects. I notice there's no expression pedal and many of those clever pedals can use an expression pedal, so wondering if you find that too distracting while playing or otherwise whether you have one but not on the board.

Thanks for the questions! There is indeed a lot of overlap btw the pedals. They are all very comparable in the reverb category for sure. My thinking on which one to use depends generally on if I’m layering effects like modulation or other reverbs. I’d love to hook up the EQ2 to midi but my controller can only handle a max of 4 devices. I’ve used those up with the Synesthesia, H90, LVX and Ventris. Good eye on the expression pedal 👍 I actually use the mission one on the H90 but I might either get another one or see if I can control expression via midi (still exploring) Cheers! denskil

@@denskilmusic4408 Thanks for the lovely answers. I've got the Mission expression pedal too, and it's fantastic! I got the Pirate Bridge 6 MIDI controller so I could do a fair bit more, though sometimes I'll drive everything from the HX Stomp ... Even with just four channels output, there are things you can do if you have a fifth pedal that is on the same channel as one of the other pedals. Obviously it means they both switch patches at the same time. Thank you!
