These videos are extremely helpful, I'm a professional singer who developed vocal nodules. After a bit of research I've realized mouth breathing at night has contributed to this problem by way of drying out my nose throat and vocal cords each night before I have to sing the next day. It always took me one or two hours to warm up my voice and hopefully learning how to breath correctly will help improve my oral health going forward. I love this natural and habitual approach to fixing personal health issues!

We are currently working on our mouth tape series, where we review different tapes that are available and we give them a score! we are also really glad to hear that you've been able to actually find a solution to your vocal nodes. this may actually be an interesting topic idea for us to pursue! So, I had braces when I was younger. My bottom teeth are still pretty straight except for one tooth that is creeping out, I think due to my wisdom teeth crowding it? But no one will take my wisdom teeth out because their roots all curve right along my facial nerves. Is there a decent way to get this tooth back in line without having to go back through the whole expensive process of braces or straightening retainers? Thank you so much for your time and help!

Sir my child who is 13 yrs is having a small gap between the front two teeth. It's actually small but still can be seen. My doubt is will it grow further and become bigger. Or should my child start wearing braces?? Please do clarify my doubt. Will these exercises help her reduce the gap? Please do reply...
@DentalNowPanorama4 жыл бұрын
Hello Priya, thank you so much for reaching out! Hopefully we are able to help you with your question. It really depends on the underlying conditions that your child has. if they start to do some of the exercises that we talked about and focus on taking care of some bad habits such as mouth breathing, there is a fairly high chance that you will see some changes in your child's smile. These changes will take a few years as it isn't a quick solution. The whole point of the exercise that we talked about is to make sure that your child's orothodontic condition and the underlying causes that creates them is in good order. we do however always recommend that patients combine these exercises with orthodontic solutions such as Invisalign or braces. You will see a much quicker result when you combine both, plus if you continue to work on these exercises once you're completed treatment there is also a less likely chance that the patient will relapse and go back to their original condition. Here to our office we always recommend that you combine both because then you'll get the most optimal treatment for your orthodontic condition. you should start to look into Invisalign for your child as an alternative for braces, because they aren't as noticeable and they will be able to tweak even the most complex cases. Unfortunately because we can't see your child in person it's really hard for us to give you a precise opinion, but hopefully that answers your question! if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at any time! We would be more than happy to help you in any way we can! Hello sir. I'm a 15 year old Ugandan girl. One of my front teeth sticks out in front of the other. I'm very insecure About my smile cause this tooth makes me look ugly. My parents can't afford braces again (considering the fact that I already got them 4 years ago) and they can't afford Invisalign either. Frustrating right? Is there a way I can push this tooth back myself doctor?? Your feedback will mean the world to me.🙂
@DentalNowPanorama4 жыл бұрын
Wow! Thanks for your comment Becky, we've never actually had anyone reach out from Uganda before so this is quite exciting for us 😀 hopefully we can help guide you in the right direction. Usually when teeth shift out of place once orthodontic treatment is completed, this means that there may have been some issues with some of the underlying causes that were not realty with such as improper tongue poster and mouth breathing or it means that patients forgot to wear their retainer. This tends to happen quite a bit and we see this all the time. Usually we recommend that patients work on both underlying causes as well as continue to wear their retainer. (We can't suggest it enough, just how important it is to wear) Your best bet would be to try to follow some of the exercises we mentioned and try to work on the underlying causes. If you do this for a few years, you may he able to tell a difference and see how your teeth have adjusted. Of course this doesn't happen right away. If the problem persists after this time, your best bet would be to reconsider saving up some money and getting Invisalign. I know it's difficult to hear this response but it's really hard to move teeth without the constant force required for your teeth to actually shift. Hopefully this answers your question! We are really thankful that you reached out. It honestly means a lot to us. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We would be more than happy to guide you 🙏 we would also really appreciate you sharing our channel with your friends. Every subscriber matters as we are trying to reach as many people as we can! 😀

You know we alwths recommend that you add more to your teeth instead of removing from them. You always want to maintain as much natural tooth structure as possible. There's a thing called cosmetic fillings that are available, which means that dentists would add additional tooth structure to your other teeth to make them look really good in conjunction with your bigger ones. The other option you have to disk your teeth. We really don't recommend this solution because it goes to the extent of removing your tooth structure! Hopefully this answers your question. We always recommend that whatever you do with your teeth you do it under the DIRECT supervision of a dentist. There shouldn't be any side effects with the exercises that we mentioned, but you always want to make sure that you are properly supervised. Your best bet is to try it out for a significantly prolonged time frame and see if you have any success with it. If you're not successful you should consider options such as Invisalign or Braces and making sure that you still work on these exercises so that you work on the underlying causes of crooked teeth.

It's a really affordable solution that can fix minor problems. This would allow you to fix your overbite and it may be a more affordable solution that paying for the full treatment. Your best bet would be to visit a few dentists and ask them about this! It may be a good solution for you! Thanks for commenting. We really appreciate it. Hopefully we've been able to answer your question. We would really appreciate you subscribing to our channel. It would mean a lot to us 🙏🙏🙏

Hello Akshaya, thank you so much for your question. Hopefully we can help guide you in the right direction. Your best bet would be to visit multiple dentists or orthodontists in your local area that provide Invisalign as well as free consultations. Over the last few years Invisalign has significantly improved their technology and we've been able to use this for most orthodontic treatment. Rarely do we need to actually place patients in braces. Your best bet would be to consider getting Invisalign as this would allow for more refinement in your smile and you would be able to focus on individual teeth that may be crooked. there may also be a more affordable alternative for you if you do consider Invisalign, they came up with a recent system called Invisalign LITE, which is much more affordable than traditional Invisalign treatment because it caps the amount of trays to 15 which is meant for people who have already straightened their teeth but only need final touches. Hopefully we've answered your question, if you have any others please don't hesitate to reach out! We would be more than happy to guide you in the right direction 🙏 we would also really appreciate it if you could subscribe to our Channel. It would mean a lot to us 😀

@DentalNowPanorama4 жыл бұрын
Hello Merin, thank you so much for your question. It's really hard for us to say whether or not these exercises will actually work for you and getting rid of your big teeth in front. To tell you the truth we are little bit confused as to what you meant, however hopefully we can answer your question anyways. Typically we recommend that patients work on straightening and fixing the teeth around their "big" front teeth because this way you'll actually be able to get the perfect smile you've always wanted. In order for you to straighten these teeth we would highly recommend that you consider a product called Invisalign. It is a clear alternative to braces that works just as well! this way you will also be able to work on some of the conditions that you may not personally see but still have. Hopefully this answers your question. I'm sorry I wasn't able to provide you with any other help. If you have any other questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask! Hello! Hopefully we can help. Honestly we always make sure that our patients wear their retainers. It's essential when it comes to making sure you can keep your smile. Your best bet would be to try to wear the retainer as much as you can so you don't allow your teeth to continue shifting. Hopefully your teeth will stay where they are and not continue shifting. If you feel as though you can't put it back on then unfortunately you may have to reconsider getting a lite Invisalign package to bring your teeth to their perfect condition. Sorry we could not be of anymore help. Hopefully we were able to guide you in the right direction. We would really appreciate you subscribing to our channel. It would really mean a lot to us 🥺🙏

Your dentist should've suggested that you wear your retainer right away. It's essential to wear a retainer in order to maintain your smile. Your best bet would be to get a retainer now so that your teeth don't keep shifting out of place. If it's already too far gone, you may need to get braces or Invisalign again. We can't stress this enough! Patients NEED to wear their retainers at all time
