Denver Broncos Could Catch HUGE Break from NFL Punishment

The Atlanta Falcons are currently under investigation by the NFL for potentially tampering with Kirk Cousins. According to Cousins himself, he began conversations with Falcons staff before the official tampering window had opened. The NFL has historically imposed severe penalties for such infractions; for instance, the Miami Dolphins lost a 1st and 3rd round draft pick a few years ago due to Sean Payton and Tom Brady's collusion in Miami. Similarly, last season, the Arizona Cardinals were penalized for tampering with Philadelphia's defensive coordinator, which resulted in them having to swap 3rd round picks with the Eagles.
Today, Mike Florio suggested that a possible resolution to the Kirk Cousins tampering issue might involve the Falcons being required to exchange their 8th draft pick for the Vikings' 11th pick. This scenario could pose a challenge for the Broncos, as it would bring the Vikings closer to securing a top quarterback. In my view, a more equitable punishment would involve the Falcons forfeiting their 8th pick and swapping 3rd round picks with the Vikings. While the Vikings were directly impacted by the tampering, the integrity of the league's negotiation process was compromised for all teams, not just Minnesota. Rewarding only the Vikings might be shortsighted by the NFL.

I’ll keep PS2. No way we are giving him up on a QB. We can get an Edge Rusher preferably Latu and might be able to snatch Bo Nix for less capital via trade up. We need to sign Levi Wallace to complement PS2 not trade him If we trade him, I’ll trade him to the bears for QB Caleb Williams. Only for him. Otherwise Hell NO !!!

I don't see the league taking the Falcons first round pick. The punishment doled out by the NFL to the Dolphins & owner Stephen Ross were considerably more egregious, involved both a player & talking to a coach's agent, & the fact that it was TOM BRADY instead of Kurt Cousins is what made their penalty a 1st rounder. It also didn't help that Brian Flores was telling the NFL league office that he was asked to throw games by Ross. None of that is present here. More likely we will see the Falcons give up a 3rd round pick. Even if Atlanta was to be disciplined by sacrificing their first rounder, the only way I see that helping Denver is if Payton wanted the player they were intending to take. If the Vikings had the 8th instead of the 11th pick, they would still have to pay the same price for moving up to one the top 4 spots. The only difference now would be that a team like the Cardinals would be drafting 4 spots higher. I think it's a moot point because I don't think Payton is going to try to move up for a QB.

After watching many games of each quarterback and not highlights but games . I believe Bo Nix is literally a perfect fit for us and I see no need to trade up for JJ. If we were to trade of for a possible qb I’d want maye. Honestly I still would prolly want bo nix over May just because Nix literally is perfect for us and like I said we wouldn’t even have to trade up hopefully. Bo nix has the 2nd most passing yard in ncaa history and 4th most TD ever and we can possibly get him with pick number 12. I also love his personality and his love for the game and he’s seems very smart . To me he just looks like a winner and I want that . I think Denver media and Sean is bringing a lot of hype around jj so they can get Bo. I wouldn’t be surprised if they draft nix at 12 and don’t trade down. This is because Sean openly said during the combine that if he sees a guy he likes he’s not going to wait to get him. Meaning that whoever he likes far as qb is going to be perused. Also Denver and George Paton has said they aren’t going to trade surtain and want him for a long time and are going to come to terms with a contract. This was all during the combine interviews. I truly believe with the variables that we have that Denver will have no choice to pursue Bo and I don’t think Sean is upset about it . I just think he wants to hype of JJ so people take him instead of bo nix. I swear I believe Sean is in love with Bo and if they trade up they are just gonna get Bo because Sean doesn’t want to lose him.

I’d give up ps2 in heart beat to move up and get our qb but I’m not sure about next years first round pick that will lost likely be a top five pick even if we draft a qb.. a top 5 pick would be huge to build around a young qb.. i think ps2 is a bit over rated he’s not a shut down corner qbs are scared to throw against they respect him but are not afraid of throwing at him if they need to
