Denver Broncos Just Got Away With Highway Robbery

The vibes out of Denver Broncos Rookie Mini Camp are immaculate! Bo Nix looks incredible in Orange and Blue, Sean Payton, George Paton, and the entire Walton/Penner Ownership group look like they have the wind back in their sails! Bo Nix is the first QB to sign his long term deal with his team, Audric Estime looks even bigger than I thought and Troy Franklin's college coach comes out and defends him.
Immediately after the draft I thought the Broncos got away with highway robbery by drafting Troy Franklin in the 4th round, I still feel that way, but I think the steal of this draft will be the fact that the Denver Broncos found their franchise QB and didn't have to give up anything to get him. I wish I could share your enthusiasm. I have come around on Nix, I think he could be a decent level performer. Nix's game lends itself to Paytons zone stretch (hybrid RPO) and his SCAT & samurai passing concepts. I'm watching TE, safety and who/what plays nick & heavy nickel (& conversely dime). I want to see who shakes out on the D line, which is so critical to the Broncs hanging in this division. I like the rb room, it could flourish. Thanks appreciated.

My other QB I liked was Michael Pratt out of Tulane, he will eventually be a great QB, Green Bay got them one right there. But I am really happy we got Bo Nix, cannot say it enough
