Lynn Hamps its a number of things that come together to produce the best music, best bands in the world in the world, we are an island nation and for thousands of years we have had to deal with invaders trying to change our lives, this has made us aggressive, ingenious, clever, passionate, stubborn and comedic. The majority of the country is working class, this brings with it experiences and determination to succeed, it also gives a perspective on life that culminates in great lyrics, something that can’t be replicated anywhere else. Combining all of these things produces the music and bands that have ruled the world of music for decades.

It's really well complemented by the crowd chanting it, and it's also one of the best moments at their concerts, shadowed IMO only by the sea of hands on Never let me down again. The moment the melody kicks in you can already see fans that know what's coming throwing their hands up and then Dave takes the energy and leads the crowd into the collective clapping which has basically become a DM live standard. They are truly unique live and have to be experienced.

I'm so envious. I worked in record stores for a lot of my adult life. I'm 52 now. "All I ever wanted, all I ever needed", was my own child to introduce good music to. It's a blast to watch you and your daughter. Hugs and long live ROCK. Have a great day.

I am a Depeche Mode Grandma freek. My son who is almost 40 and my teenage granddaughter is a huge fan. I have seen them in concert in the 80s and 90s. I heard they are doing another tour. They transformed my musical life. I am a guitarist from the age of 7 years old. Martin the guitarist in Depeche Mode and sound genius made me feel music so much different. My twin sister and I were nuts on the dance floor when a Depeche Mode song came on. We are almost the same age as the members of the band. Your mother is my son's generation experiencing this music. Depeche forever. I am up in my living room going nuts to this. I have a copy of their concert from several years ago. I'm going to put it on now and dance my ass off. Canadian Grandma Lori. C.

"it gave me life". Yes. That's exactly what it is, plus more. A spectacle that's hard to top. One of my favourite records of all time, delivered with such panache and with an absolute killer middle section that was totally unexpected. Just total joy.

I've loved Depeche Mode since I first heard them in 1981. I saw them live in Sweden in Malmö Arena some years ago and it was the best concert I've ever been to. So lovely to watch you showing those epic moments to her❤

It's so awesome that you show your daughter classic music like this. I grew up with my parents listening to this stuff, was born in 1985. Even though I'm a metal guy, Depeche Mode will always be one of my favorite bands.

Coming back to this after having just seen them perform this version at Twickenham, London UK ... it remains such a party moment. Just nothing beats a full stadium full of fans screaming the song out at the top of their lungs ... DM still knows how to do it right!

I have an 18 year old son and I feel lucky that he also likes Depeche Mode as well as other New Wave groups from the 80s (I'm a fan of that music) and I must admit that it's amazing when you enjoy a song like Enjoy The Silence with your son. I congratulate you for sharing those moments with your daughter and although it sounds presumptuous I must say that we are fortunate to know this music and share it with those we love the most, success and greetings from Peru

Depeche Mode is my all-time favorite band. Literally have seen them ~30 times live. This really made me smile that you could share this with your daughter. My daughter is going to be 25 this year and I get so much joy showing her things that made me happy from years ago. I’m looking forward to watching your other videos. And “it gave me life” is the greatest compliment. She will never forget doing these things with you. Thank you.
