Angus doesn't just wear his old school uniform because "it's what he does." He used to go straight to gigs after school, without time to change and would wear it on stage. The fact he is 5'2" meant he could pull off that subsequent signature look for many years and it became a thing.

@Paula Leckey - keep rocking, sweet Lady! To be over 50 doesn't mean a thing nowadays, it doesn't have to, at least. Taking good care of yourself and avoiding cliché-traps's a good way of life! Everyone expects you to cut your hair, wear old-style blouse and skirt and sit in front of the tv, watching reruns of Eaton Place or Poldark. But you don't HAVE to, just stay who you were 20 years ago, living and doing and going anywhere you want, but with a bit of wisdom. I've seen enough really great lasses over 50 to know it works. Angus Young, the guitarist was one of three brothers but much younger. Such was his enthusiasm for playing rock with his brothers in the garage of their home, he would come straight home from school and join his brothers. He wouldn't even remove his satchel. Forever in his school uniform, it became part of the bands culture, even into adulthood. So far as we Australians go, if Angus didn't wear his school uniform, there would be a max exodus. Side note, the bands name came from Angus's sister. Where the lead plugged into her sewing machine were the letters AC/DC......POWER VOLTAGE. It aint deep, it's just raw.

I do really appreciate that this guy wants to involve his daughter in learning about different kinds of music, it's a great idea and very kind...but after watching several of these it is just so clear the kid doesn't want to be there. The dad loves music and it is clear he is driving this arrangement. My guess is that we'd all be better off if the dad just let the kid go do whatever she wants to do and have the dad be the one to discuss the music. For me, it is really frustrating to have to listen to the dad be so excited about the music that means so much to him, only to have the daughter try to fight to find a kind word or two. I was hoping that the first 5 or 6 videos just happened to be music choices that didn't resonate with her, but it doesn't seem like she is enjoying this at all. Nothing against the girl, she seems wonderful and thoughtful to indulge her fathers wishes, but this becomes more and more painful to watch. Each video is full of interesting music, but the responses of the daughter make it so clear she'd rather be doing something else. It's painful to watch. Find something she does want to listen to and engage with you over, or just change the format to just be about the guy who obviously loves music very much.

Hey man i don see it that way. In the new videos the girl show more entusiasm. And i think that maybe at first she felt as you said, but sometimes you need to show them new things so they can decided if they like it or not. They don t know a lot of thing that at the end they would enjoy. And maybe this videos that start as a entertainment to the father only, finish to be a space between them every week.

My first concert was AC/DC in Cincinnati in 1991, also was my senior year. By far the loudest concert I have ever been to. Please do For Those About to Rock (Live in Donington 1991).

Niiiice suggestion, hoping to do more AC/DC soon. Thanks for watching

Angus used to bunk off school and played concerts in his school uniform .... and he never stopped
@tarunkumaar6254 жыл бұрын
Really? I think he didn't play till he finished high school. The story is her sister made him the costume because he wanted something different.

Paul Alfie Garner Yes that’s the correct order. But Dave Evans fronted the band for a very short period of time. Everyone remembers Bon Scott more.

First time watching you two and you are amazing. When I heard you talking about Megadeth, I knew I had to watch more vids from you two. Message to the Dad: High Five! Message to his rad daughter: I wish my dad was this cool when I was your age. But seriously, tell him he needs to talk less and just let the music roll ;P

I understand that there was more than 70,000 in the audience. However, the incredible thing is that they performed to the same size crowd three nights in a row.

I'm an Indian from Malaysia. Flew to Perth just to watch Iron Maiden for the 1st time with my buddies, on my 30th birthday, 14th May 2016 at Perth Arena. (1st day landing, we had an unfriendly minor incident at a supermarket, 2 girls slurring racial stuff at us) The day of the concert: There was this Father and his daughter sitting just at the row in front of us. The dad was pointing at us and whispering to his daughter while the daughter was starring at us. The dad then leaned back said "Sorry mate, was tellin mah daughter here , the eddie on ur T was the 1st eddie" I was wearing Iron Maiden "Killers". Was blown away how the dad was educating his daughter about maiden and metal. We had beers all the way till the end of the show, it was unforgettable with the crowd,metal heads and locals there are super awesome!! This Dad and daughter reminds me of them Metal Heads United Subbed,Liked,Shared, Way to go guys, rock n roll!

You and your daughter should react to AC/DC “Back in Black”...probably their best song (in my opinion)
@GlitchintheMatrixMultiMedia5 жыл бұрын
It is definitely one of their best songs! I used to play it on my drums though so she is pretty aware of that one, otherwise would be an awesome choice. More to come soon though!
