For those of you in the comments commenting on her “attitude” If you saw someone die in front of you knowing you could have done your job and save a life but was denied that you wouldn’t exactly have a peachy attitude. Especially if the defense is trying to assume her “distraction” lead to someone’s death. Have respect for her and her job. The defense is appalling.

She had no idea what was going on at the time. Just because some of the things might make sense in hindsight that doesnt mean decisions were wrong at the time. She could have been a druggy friend of the detained for all the police know that just wants to get close to get him free. They dont have time on the scene to work out if she was really who she was claiming to be. As she said herself medical should have been on the scene much sooner, so the cops dont need to deal with some random person claiming to be a medic when they were expecting medics to arrive any second.

People can make comments about her attitude here or on the scene, attempt to downplay her training, or otherwise discredit her in any way, but it doesn’t change what her profession is, negate her training, or anything she saw as a witness. She, along with other witnesses, still saw what was happening. What sets her apart is she was trained to recognize signs of medical distress and voiced it to the officers. Even if she wasn’t allowed into the scene (and an argument can be made against her having access to Floyd), it doesn’t change that fact that she and others alerted the officers that SOMEONE needed to address the medical issue at the scene when none of the officers were doing that. (Side note it’s interesting to see people bash a firefighter when convenient, and applaud their bravery when it’s convenient).

I think her testimony is such an interesting footnote in the unforgivable unforgettable tragedy this whole thing is. Cops vs firefighters, who are the good guys and the bad guys? They are both supposed to help. The cops did the murdering, the firefighter was COMPELLED to keep this human alive. Add a gender perspective to it, if there had been a female cop, things may have gone differently… her happening to walk into the scene of this crime is it’s own mini-story of America’s problems (besides the most obvious one at the forefront of this atrocity). This stuff is hard to revisit, but I make myself rewatch so I don’t forget how important it is. And god bless the parkland survivors on that note, as yesterday was February 14th.

@Lucky Duck... You're exactly right. When she was at the scene, she messed up her chance at possibly being allowed to "help" by talking trash and acting ghetto. I can't comment on the wearing of the uniform... Maybe the prosecution asked her to ? Maybe she was on her way to the station ? Whatever. The Fire Captain who testified today, and didn't have much game, wore his. What struck me was her copping attitude on the stand, even trying to talk back to the judge after he sent the jury home and tried to counsel her. Another person on this thread mentioned that she was still new at the job. Correct. And when you consider that being an EMT Basic is her SECONDARY duty, and even newer at it, she was trying to show her @ss at the scene and in court. She was damn lucky the judge didn't hold her in contempt of court. Ive seen it done to more polite people than her. I'll say this much, and I don't know many people caught it, but she was hired under some social experiment program. She said as much. The most she would have been able to do, at best, was to determine if Floyd had a pulse, and do chest compressions. The only question asked of her today was "did she have her Fire Dept ID on her that day?" She didn't. I don't know if anyone here on this thread saw today's (4/1) witnesses, but everyone who was in uniform the day of the incident, screwed up. I might get hate for this, but the two cops who were at Floyd's legs/feet, were okay. And I don't talk about what i haven't done/don't know.

@yoly105483 жыл бұрын
very good question! as i wonder, and saw the other two parametics, that didn't wear uniform, seem like after listening to her, maybey they felt guilty and afraid of showing up in uniform, due to lack of getting there faster, and or knowing he had passed, and for sake of thier protocalls needed to park elsewhere, just to show they did try to do some medical work on him. so it seems as though they got there late! obviously the female emt was more concerned and i appreciate her, its all about truth! truth is that they the officers are guilty , and the two male emt should be ashame of themselves!

Based on the chronology of calls and times of the calls and the initial code 2 vs upgraded to code 3.... not sure the 2 paramedics were slow walking the ambulance. @Relevance4life3 жыл бұрын
Having beautiful soul and being a good witness are 2 different things. She’s too emotionally vested in the case that she became a bad witness. The prosecutors either did not do their job or she’s a hot head and won’t listen to anyone. She did not help Floyd’s case. She was very inconsistent because she wanted badly to convict Chauvin and started to insert things she did not witness. Once the jury doubts any part of your testimony, everything gets discarded. Arguing with the judge is also a bad sign that you are already biased and can’t be counted on to say the truth.
@sAturN83p3 жыл бұрын
@@Relevance4life you would have to be a statue to not be emotionally invested. All of the witnesses were emotional and every witness to ever testify in any trial is usually emotionally invested?? What do you mean? And yes. A good soul has everything to do with a good witness🤔.. umm.. idk about you but if my life were on the line, I would hope my witnesses had good souls because I know they'd be true even to the detriment of society or themselves. These evil policemen are sent from Satan the devil - 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
@karate43483 жыл бұрын
not sure about evil or from satan or the devil, but the police and those in tandem with and leading them sure were programmed to have a baseline of fear and sick thinking rather than one of health, care or empathy. These police officers all then could work together to kill someone AND in full public and camera view as we can see. This is disgusting cruelty for all involved. This is not policing. It is sickening. Health, care healthy fun and sharing is the antidote and these men and anyone following or leading them must be part of that antidote. No place for punishment and reward, evil or good here.... this is about health and what is right which was arrested. Policing should be about arresting and not killing... and must be about arresting in order to protect. It must certainly not be about arresting in order to kill.

Ever think maybe this was just karmic justice from when floyd was threatening to kill a pregnant lady, and that a life a consistently bad and selfish choices would lead to a bad end? If Floyd had not been a drug user or tried to pass bad checks (he bought his drugs cash of course) he wouldn't have been in that position. Woe be to them who call good evil and evil good.

Her credibility was already on trial they made her arrive to testify as an employee, not just as a bystander, implying she was interfering with her job and created a scene.
