“Extraordinary claims do need extraordinary evidence.” That’s my biggest takeaway from this.

we have some crazy evidence to support something odd going on at the very least

@@HauntedTheTruthIn the entirety of human history not one single supernatural or paranormal claim has EVER been definitively proven genuine yet thousands have been proven fraudulent the arithmetic isn't hard. Psychics and mediums will take your money to tell you lies and rape the genuine memories you have of your lost loved ones, they're 100% morally bankrupt and I'm not convinced at least some so called "paranormal investigators/ghost hunters" aren't doing something similar, certainly these people can make a lot of money from ghost hunting TV shows that are so popular ATM and Ed and Lorraine Warren were definitely 100% fake and made a lot of money being so.

Same. Lou was the only one featured in this Investigates series that I actually respected. I don't believe in ghosts, but the fact that he was offering his services for free shows that he legitimately believed in the work he was doing. RIP

Why wouldn't that woman put her cats in another room? Also seeing/hearing beings that are not there telling you to kill your husband is surely schizophrenia?

Or bullshit more like.

Believing in ghosts is not a symptom of schizophrenia. We all see/hear things that confirm our internal belief system, and it's really easy to pick out words from audio interference (eg. the Yanny/Laurel audio illusion). It's basically the sound equivalent to picking out shapes in the clouds. To me, Lou's belief in ghosts is no different from a Christian's belief in angels or demons.

This was sad. I went in like Darren hoping to be shown something compelling. I left feeling sorry for how delusional Lou was about seeing faces in random shapes or hearing words in random static. I also felt bad for Judy, whose irrational belief in this is only fueling her anxiety and disrupting her quality of life.

As a pagan, the thing that I object to with belief in ghosts is this: it predicates Christianity as being the baseline. Why would bibles, crucifixes, have any effect if the christian god wasn't all powerful? I believe he isn't for many reasons, but to believe in ghosts in this form it goes with the territory.

It is strange that people who have experenced sleep paralysis have seen the old women or witch . Wonder what it means .
@r6854 Жыл бұрын
I've had that. It was a terrifying 10 seconds. It is actually not that uncommon. Basically when you sleep your brain 'turns off' your skeletal muscles. It does this so if you have a dream you are flying, you don't go and try to fly off a building in your sleep. Sometimes you wake up quicker than your brain can reactivate your skeletal muscles and 'fills in' a reason why you can't move. My brain never fills in a supermodel...it was an old witch/hag.

I don’t know buddy but, I have suffered from sleep paralysis and believe it’s not a nice experience at all mate, I didn’t see anything at all but, the only thing I could move was my eyelids and it was terrifying, the only thing that worried me was, I moved into a old bungalow and before I moved into it, I had never suffered from sleep paralysis before and touch wood I moved out and I’ve never suffered from it since I’ve moved out of the bungalow, which even my doctor thought was very interesting, like I said it was a terrifying experience but, I’ve been spiritual since my childhood when I woke in the night. and I saw a old man sitting on the bottom of my bed, that I’d never seen before in my life, I was about 9 years old and when I told my father in the morning what I’d seen, he asked me to describe the man and, when I did he instantly said that was my father Steve your grandfather, I thought no about it until a couple of years later, when I went to stay with my grandmother and uncle Bill, and on my grandmother’s fireplace was a little photo and when I looked at the photo I saw a old man standing in the back garden with a black dog and I said, grandma who’s this man in this photo and she said that’s my late husband who passed away when I was about 2-3 years old from cancer, and I swear to you it was the same man dressed in exactly the same clothes that was sitting on the bottom of my bed 2 years earlier, and I’ve had paranormal experiences ever since, but what I saw that night is the only full spirit that I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’m 61 years old now buddy but I’ve heard so many paranormal experiences in my life to many to mention in fact. If you haven’t suffered from sleep paralysis then believe me mate you really don’t want to, like I said it’s terrifying but this Darren Brown is like Lou, he’s also full he is full of shit if he really believes that if there’s no such thing as the spirit world, because honestly there is mate, I’m not a medium or anything like that, in fact I’ve never once tried to get in touch with anyone from the spirit world for some reason unknown to me, they come to me that’s for sure mate. Take care of yourself mate from Stevie boy in England.
