You can put it whatever way you want but there is no question that the West Bank is occupied territories, every nation on Earth including the Us and Israel have rightly called it occupied territory as that is what it is all though in recent years those who support the occupation and wish it to be a permanent have taken to calling it contested land. 20 Years ago at the time of the Oslo Peace Accord there was 7000 settlers mostly living in the West bank most of whom were extreme religious squatters yet after 20 years of Israel and her supporters telling everyone they are honest about the two state solution the West Bank now has 500,000 settlers all living in housing built and payed for by Israel with Jewish only roads, shops and buses etc and yet these are the same people claiming to be serious about a two state solution yet who gets the US to veto just the words not actions that there should be a two state solution. Only a moron cant see that Israel has gobbled up Palestinian land and those who support it thus support an apartheid state as there is no way in hell Christian and Muslim Palestinian's are to be treated equally in a State that openly calls itself a Jewish State. Huey Freeman Well then, they should be mad at the British and not the Israelis, right? Either way, that's not an excuse for committing genocide. Of course the Arabs wanted them gone. But they lost. These 2 guys on the left make a big world war out of the fact that Israel retained some limited security controls around Gaza even as they forcibly pulled out all 8000 Israeli settlers and handed almost everything to the Gazans. They could have easily begun to build a state to prove to the world that Israel was right to start trusting them and that "land for peace" worked. This would have provided the basis for even more autonomy given to Palestinians. Many countries were lining up to invest in Gaza. But they threw it all down the drain and started making war again. Sorry, that aint' Israel's fault. I really get sick of making excuses for the Palestinians.
