D, with your taste you will go over 3K. The size rug you need is going to cost almost 3K, if you’re going for quality. Suggestion: I would rotate the sofa to the right, where the back is facing the kitchen. This way you can look out at the view from the sofa. Also, the rug in the bedroom, I would flip it, where it’s wider on the sides of the bed and pull it out from the wall, so the nightstand is not on the rug. Good luck with the budget.

Grandma is so cool! She’s a great help in helping you figure out furniture placement. Take your time in fixing up your place. Do a little at a time, until u find all the decor pieces, that u really like. A budget of about $2500 or a little less can complete the final look.

My grandmother passed away 2 weeks ago, which encouraged me to push forward with watching your videos. Yes D, be financially responsible and set a budget. $2500 should be sufficient, depending on what you need/want and where you buy from. Start pricing the items you want so you have an idea of what you're spending. Remember, it's an apartment not a house. So save where you can and splurge on the right items. What matters is living in comfort and peace. Continue to make Grandma proud. Nothing like seeing a young man have and hold his own 💪.

Some plants, green pillow/throws, entertainment set, paint/wallpaper I do believe will set it off right. Also, grandma was correct with the placement of the side chairs and table. I did alkaline for 18 months and I can say quinoa is your friend. You cook it exactly the same way you would rice except you don’t have to wash it. I would stir fry in a pan bell peppers, Tucson kale from Trader Joe’s, portobello mushrooms, and hummus to make it creamy and have in avocado sprinkled with salt and pepper on the side. That was my go-to meal and it was very filling. You also want to eat lots of nuts. Honey and agave are good sweeteners if you would like to turn it into a cereal for breakfast or a snack. Alkaline is in someways similar to a veggie keto so if you get yourself to under 30 g of carbs a day including sugars, you won’t feel hungry at all. You can also turn raw cashews into a creamy pasta sauce.
