EXACTLY! While I was watching it, I was thinking it was a combination between an I Love Lucy episode where he was talking to Ethel and his REAL life with Lucille!

You don't know the whole story, and you don't know what living with Lucy was like either.

@@monkeyattackedmyass5435 True...as much as I LOVE LUCY, she was probably a MONSTER to work with. I can't help but think about it whenever l watch her.

@@MrCJ-qz9dl Actually there are a lot of stories, and first hand accounts of her being pretty good to work with, but being a nasty tyrant away from work. But I'm sure she could probably be difficult at work too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Paco's wife was originally written to be played by Lucille ball, but she refused.

Ah! That makes sense considering the way Dezi was speaking about 'Lucy'.

Desi Arnaz also made an appearance as a spanish speaking bullfigther in a two-part episode of the short-lived series "Mothers In Laws" (also produced by Desilu).

This is interesting, because Desi Arnaz produced it, but not with Desilu. I believe by that time (I could be wrong) that he had sold his Desilu shares to Lucy. In fact, I thought he quit television. So I've always wondered what got him to come back and make the MIL show.
