Rose B. amazon = garbage made in China. My girlfriend had a shop for 20 years reproducing this style of dress proudly made in the USA. Then the chinese kept stealing her designs. Girls would come in and complain how disappointed they where of the quality. we asked them to go pull the dress off our rack. They immediately saw / felt the difference that ours were superior. They then confessed their dress was shipped from China. After many years struggling to stay afloat we closed down. Americans don’t care or understand quality any more all they want is cheap disposable clothing. Trust me Dinah Shores dress looks good because it was made in America back when made in USA MENT QUALITY.

@@judd442009 nahpoli has a point and yet, you're dismissive and sarcastic. Yes, overt racial discrimination existed in certain states, but that doesn't negate that what nahpoli is saying is true. People were more respectful back then [both blacks and whites]. Let me add, you could buy a house back then without being indebted to the bank for a 30 year morgage and one parent could afford to support the family, because the cost of living wasn't so high. Now two parents working full time barely support the family. There were flaws that needed to be corrected, but crime wasn't sky high in our large cities, etc... I'm glad that I'm living now, because technology has advanced so much [remote control, cell phone, computer, social media], but I wish people we could have retained some of the things from yonder year with of course, the greater tolerance we have today.

@whewfan4 жыл бұрын
Keith Thibodeaux (Known as Richard Keith then) was never billed on I Love Lucy for a couple reasons. First, the show sort of wanted people to believe that Keith was actually Desi Arnaz Jr. Also, while Lucy and Desi had no intentions to replace Keith, they wanted to leave the option open to bring on Desi Jr. if necessary. Also, Keith recently revealed that as much as he and Desi were best friends for a while, and spent a lot of time at each other's houses, there were moments that his parents would "make" Keith come to Lucy's house or Desi's house to be with Desi Jr., and Keith had other friends that he would've rather hung out with. I mean, when the bosses want a playmate for Desi Jr, and there's nobody else, you don't want to say no. Keith also had a sort of reoccurring role as Opie's troublemaking friend on Andy Griffith. Keith said he sort of preferred that role because he thought Little Ricky was sometimes TOO good of a kid and it was nice to play a character that wasn't always that nice.

Yet, they somehow managed to put out a fantastic performance for Miss Shore! Moreover in spite of Keith Thibodeux playing a character who was supposed to be based on Desi, Jr., the two became friends and evidently have stayed so in adulthood. Whats happened to our nation? Innocence has disappeared. Along with hate weve welcomed unhappiness & distrust. We all feel it, something gone terribly wrong. During 70s 80s racism of civil rights are even disappearing most of USA. We somewhere these last uears taken step backward as Herman Cain said. Its sad because so much progress pushed aside. America really had a chance...now its in rapid decline. So sad. In the study of civilizations, great ones collapse at 300 years. We are right on track with history. Of course learning from history is now un- American. When history is pushed aside, it will repeat itself. America had a real chance.. 70s 80s 90s... May GOD help us, our only hope!

You don’t get it do you? This is where “diversity and inclusion”got us. You put those people in the schools with your children and look what you come out with. White people were ignorant and stupid to ever have allowed it to happen..

My mind was totally blown away by this!! I know he was good on the drums because of the show he was on but I had no idea that they formed a band after the show ended. I Love It!

Another_Life Phanta00773 You are amazing in your downloads! I may not have been born when these shows were on but that doesn't stop me from becoming a fan! Thanks!

This is so great to see - the two young boys certainly look like brothers. Dinah Shore's show was so hugely popular back in the day that the NBC network filmed the episodes in color - something very rare and expensive at the time.

Gee I remember Dinah was an old lady when I was the same age as the band. Now as a 66 year old I can see so much more clearly. My Dad was right, what a hottie.

My mom used to watch that show and I would catch some of it when I got home from school. She was quite the hottie but I believe she swang her golf club the other way. But I have always bought Chevys! Hahaha!

I can see why Lucy picked Keith to play Little Ricky. He looks so much like her own son Desi Jr.
@laurenbendik20063 жыл бұрын
I dont think he looks like him at all. The key is he could play drums and desi arnaz liked that.
@Superlad94947 ай бұрын
@@laurenbendik2006 a lot of Lucy's programs were all done at Lucy's suggestions. Lucille Ball had to fight to have Desi on the original show, if Keith is there it all had to do with Lucy. Little Ricky was picked both for drums and looking like a double for Desi Jr.

Desi Sr. always touched my heart. He was very sensitive. Lucie said how he was on I Love Lucy was who he truly was. Gracious. Magnanimous. Friendly. Desi Sr was so musical and was such a great performer. How wonderful to see this musical show. I loved the Desi Arnaz orchestra on I Love Lucy. They were incredible. All the young performers on this clip gave such an energetic performance.
