This is really one of the best presentation for something as abstract as design thinking. Thank you for giving this really clear speech.

Beautiful delivery! Must take a lot of mastery to deliver a topic as "esoteric" as Design Thinking without any airs - the examples of a hotel shower and a coffee shop are probably among the most ubiquitous to come across. @Nilufer also carefully avoided dropping any "jargon" (niche, technical language), but kept her words simple and approachable for the lay person to appreciate. Well done, @Nilufer, @TEDxOttawa, @TEDx and @TED. 👏👏👏

I love the persona description and how it outlines what the persona does and has and likes. I love how it describes the persona as a real individual.

Very engaging presentation. Definitely appreciate "Bring humanity back to work” message. While it appears design thinking is a great structure/framework to work with, I get the sense that it requires a long runway to see results (especially for more complex challenges). In these days of high expectations and immediate results, how can the value of design thinking be more clearly articulated?

I was very happy to run across this presentation about Design Thinking. Great talk about various important Design Thinking concepts and complementary tools used for problem solving. I agree that incorporating the tools and concepts to solve simple and complex problems will allow us to develop products and services that truly addresses end users needs. In the last few year I have seen the use of personas used in so much more that just UX design to assist organizations focus on how better to serve their clients by providing well thought out products and supporting services. Look forward to learning more Design Thinking concepts and techniques. Thank you

I was hoping she would refer to complexity theory or systems theory... I couldn't find anything really complex in the subjects brought in this talk. Oh, and she talks about 'Portugal city in Portugal'... there is no such place. She may be referring to Lisbon or Porto.

In re the shower. When you're introducing a new concept - i.e. one with only a vague resemblance to common installations, you're going to need more than simple instructions on a tag. You're probably going o nee more than the regular plumber to install them too.
