Can you explain what you meant by "if you're doing very very transactional orders you probably want a project management software as opposed to a client management software"? What do you mean by "transactional orders", and how does that differ from what you would use this software for? Also, would you say that getting software to manage things is necessary before you even book your first client? (still in the research/decision-making stage of business planning) It seems like until you know that your business is going to work out you could do these things with an Excel sheet etc - what is your take on this????? If your orders are like one and done transactions like someone buys a mug and you ship it - you don’t need a client manager. If you need to send contracts, questionnaires, proofs, etc then you’re managing that relationship for longer and it’s more complex ! So this software will be more suited to that. But not the best fit if you’re just selling a quick product or service. I would say it’s never too early yo get your systems set up! Dubsados free trial is for 3 clients with no time limit so you can start playing with it and have it ready when you need it !!!

You CAN do a lot of these things for free and that’s how lots of people start ! Then one day you’ll start to feel a little overwhelmed probably and want it all to be more streamlined :)

Which would you recommend for an organizing business? I'm a solopreneur and don't have much experience with any CMS. I know that I need a CMS that automates the lead management process starting when someone books a service with my business.

I think either would be good with that info - IMO Dubsado is a little easier to catch onto if you’re new to CMS so you might start there! Also their free trial is for 3 clients with no time limit so it gives you time to figure things out. If you have set packages you might want to look into their “public proposals” (I have a video on it!)
