I would love a big laundry room with an island. I would include a linen cupboard, mesh shelves to dry sweaters flat, a place to hang clothes, a pull down iron and steamer, and a dumb waiter to take it all upstairs! It would also have a small flat screen tv because folding clothes is boring, and it would be decorated beautifully. A girl can dream!

Having an island in the laundry room is a great feature, especially for sewing projects.

We remodeled the kitchen in the 1965 stone cottage we bought. I reused the upper cabinets in the laundry room and painted them butter yellow. I hung atomic themed wallpaper from Spoonflower. I added vintage linens and Pyrex and I just love going in there.

A feature I like is a dog washing area in the Laundry room providing there is room. I've seen designs where the pets food or water bowls are in the laundry room but I prefer to put those in the pantry room or kitchen area.

How about using the island for a wrapping station

I want a practical laundry room with my Miele front-loader washing machine raised a few feet off the ground so I don't drop washing on the floor but rather into a basket. I want 2 big laundry tubs for hand washing and maybe a dog or lamb I want sensible long-lasting shelving made for water resistant materials possible more like a cabinet. The floor concrete and a walk in shower

Now I wish I didnt have Topload W/D. Can’t put a counter on top

I loved my topload as a machine, I found it easier to use, but I now have a front load and do appreciate the counter. I think they both have pros and cons 😊

Another design feature I don't prefer is putting pet beds in the laundry room. I cringe & wince when I see that.
