Great video! Your transformation from an ugly salmon colored vase to a Turkish relic is amazing! You more than nailed it! The watered down paint is an interesting process. Does it have the same longevity as wood stain? I do Love the end result! Your styling is very tasteful! Almost forgot- the picture placed in between glass really gave it a boost! I’m sure the original artist is smiling down upon you. 😁 The frame distressing was a perfect addition to the project! Thanks for sharing your talents!

I’m so happy how it came out, it does look like a vintage Turkish vessel far away or up close - someday I’ll have enough to buy a real one BUT I’m starting to get more into actual pottery so I’m gonna experiment with throwing my own on a wheel! Hemp oil is good safe. Sweet pickins brand has a dark oil that would be pretty. Or the I colored for a more light color.
