Rob's construction degree shows. Watching this video is like listening to a foreman discuss the plan for a house. You may be overwhelmed by the amount of detail and planning involved, but you can rest assured that the upper deck of your house won't cave in on your first night. 😂😂

The first 30 seconds of this video answered my other salty question I had about how you're able to charge so much money. I understand that value is a no-brainer if you can offer value to Seminole pay you anything. I get that and I love that and I want to learn how to really make websites that get good results and traffic consistently

Hi Rob, great video, it's for sure the most valuable content about web design business for me so far, because it matches high-level strategy of "getting results" with low-level tactics and how-to's. Thanks! I have a question about working with clients. You said you work mainly with precoded templates and make adjustments with html and css. How do you handle situations when client want features that require changes in template, for example different menu, which require changing code in other language (JavaScript, PHP, etc.)?

@@ksiedzuofficial8735 Hey I didn't see the question you asked first time. Before starting a project I got a good idea of what features they will use - so usually not too many surprises. If something does come up though I will either code it myself, add in a new system (depends on what is needed), or maybe outsource. If the feature is a big change I will request more of a budget to do so also. But it doesn't happen too often - there are lots of great, easy to use, features for most features needed.

Great content! Rob, do you pay for fb ads/google ads by yourself or does the client pay for ads and you just run the marketing campaign? Or if the client pays for ads to you then how does he pay you.for example if you charge usd 3000 for a website than this will also include the advertisement money along with web development?
@abhishekrajan96464 жыл бұрын
I am a developer from Quebec, Canada and I usually tell the client beforehand that web development and marketing are two separate things and he needs to pay FB for advertising and my management fees too which is apart from web development.
