Cub Vitani has the best design of any of the TLK2 characters in my opinion. Zira and Nuka are close seconds!

Because, as a fan artist, I often try to draw Vitani for my pictures. But because her design is so inconsistent and weird, it is incredibly difficult to draw her! That's why I'm frustrated--not necessarily with the character, but with the character's design. ;)

@acecat2798 Agreed, Nala clearly has sea-green eyes in The Lion King (and in all of the merchandise from that time). Those of us who were kids in the early 90s can attest to that; Simba's Pride was in error in giving her bright blue eyes.

@Koraden there WAS a deleted scene that's still prominent in the play where Scar gets involved with Nala herself... it wouldn't strike me as odd if he went for another around her age ^^

I HATE how they changed Vitani as an adult :P She was so cute as a cub. And the fuzzy eyebrows make her look girly, she's supposed to be a tomboy!

Now you have to do one to explain Nuka, Kovu, and Zira, Kor. Good luck with any of 'em, despite the fact they don't change like Vitani.

Actually, her eye color changes throughout the first movie alone, there are scenes where they are green and scenes where they are blue, all though I personally noticed her with blue eyes more.

Interesting idea. My questions to that would be: where does Vitani get her bright yellow coloring and blue eyes, and why is Scar getting involved with a lioness Nala's age? Otherwise I definitely think it has merit as a fan theory. :)

@CaitlinLovesTurtles Yeah that's a fun theory because it explains design traits like her floofy hair, yellow fur, blue eyes, and ear rims. :) Definitely has a lot of merit. The problematic part is Vitani's outsider characteristics which don't fit either Tojo or Tama: small beady eyes, hooked nose, malformed adult head shape, eye surrounds completely dark, fluffy square cheeks as a cub instead of round, etc.

Your best bet is probably auction sites like eBay, just keep checking back. I'm not sure where else you could find these plushies now.

Thanks - I made each frame in Photoshop by making different layers visible and invisible. Then I saved the frames as JPEGs and put them all in Windows Movie Maker to make the video.

Lol that's because there's technically only one official Vitani plushie in existence. ;) This is more of my wishful fan-thinking. I'd love to see a proper Vitani plush. The Vitani plushie was sold in a set of three cubs along with Kovu and a "Nuka" which looks nothing like the movie Nuka. The plush Vitani looks nothing like the movie Vitani either, unfortunately. If you google "Vitani plush" on images you can see some pictures of the poor Vitani-thing. It's very sad.

In truth, i'm "Bob" in the perdicament with no knowledge in art designes, and i'm always giving my friend a hard time getting it right...sorry "Fred" but if you happen to be reading this, we're at it again tomarow morning. @HannahFitz427 Actually, she doesn't. Yes, in Jungle, night and Elephant Graveyard scenes, they look blue-gray, but in regular daylight, as a cub and adult, she has green eyes. Look at this page. nala.ru/nalas_eyes.htm

@Weed193 That's true, and it would be the most reasonable support for a Tojo x Tama cub. The difficult part is just explaining why Vitani looks so dissimilar in body type to both parents. I mean, the list of physical traits that she could have garnered from Tama and Tojo is actually outnumbered by the list of traits that can't be explained by either one of them.
