Omg I was also a soldier in the nutcracker when I was 13. Also similar to you I was never a good auditioner but danced really really well. Could never show off my talent at auditions sadly cause I was slow at picking up choreo. Now that creative side has turned into decorating and staging homes. Molly, if you can find an identical cabinet to the one under the tv and it fits, putting 2 side by side would fix the scale under the tv but have the depth parameter you’re looking for

Love your style and your classic, minimal decor! I almost feel silly giving a designer as good as you a suggestion, but maybe you can buy another cabinet to put under the tv to go along with that one?..... Just push them together and make a longer cabinet. I love the console I have under my tv but the tv was wider than the console and it bothered me so instead of splurging on a new longer console I just purchased another identical and pushed them together. If the tiny crack in-between the 2 bothers you like it did me it was an easy fix because I style the middle of the console anyway, so the decor covers it, and it looks like one big cabinet. If a second one fits in that space, you should try it! I would love to see it done in someone's space like yours:) If you dont do it I encourage anyone reading my comment to try it, its cheaper because the smaller side cabinets always cost alot less, even buying 2! In my case, I bought mine months apart so it felt like I spent even less.
