I was baptized at 12. I lived like a demon and played Church off and on all my early life until I lost everything...(He will not be mocked). I lost: wife, kids, and all material substance due to addiction. When I was 40, one morning, all alone in an abandoned house, separated from my family (wife of 22 years and 3 kids) for 3 months, I called upon Him... One morning suddenly, as if a ton of bricks landed on me, I was convicted of my sin. 7-8 hours completely broken, crying in a manner as I've never cried, BROKEN and begging God for guidance... I finally fell asleep. I woke the next day at about 4:00 a.m... I FELT BRAND NEW!!! I COULD NOT TELL ENOUGH PEOPLE THIS! I KNOW GOD IS REAL!!!!!!! PRAISE BE TO GOD IN CHRIST FOR THE NEW LIFE I'VE BEEN GRANTED! THANK YOU JESUS!!! John 12:24 King James Bible Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!!!

Galatians2 20. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. After my husband went to heaven last September by Covid preaching in T- land as a martyr I died with him. More than the baptism, death swallowed me on this earth, now I remained myself in the Christ and Christ lives in me only! Maranatha!! Come Jesus quickly!!

Baptism: Two things: 1) Our Lord's insistence upon His own baptism even though He is completely pure and innocent before God, the angels and men. 2) If, as a Christian, I really believe my stated goal to emulate/imitate Jesus Christ in all ways possible, how could I NOT be baptized/immersed in a sincere expression of my faith and union with Him. ? How could there be any human vanity involved in such an act of obedient humility? I would feel my faith and obedience to the Lord significantly incomplete if I had not gladly been baptized into Christ almost 40 years ago. I hope you join me. ... Ideally a Christian who has been baptised but if you can not find one you can baptise yourself as the Jews do, ideally, by full immersion in flowing water or the sea. If not available a pool or swimming pool will do. Jesus commanded baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. The disciples baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ but were mostly talking to Jews who would already have been baptised by John the Baptist. Be baptised in both if you have any doubts.

Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says? What did Peter say below? Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

The phrase, “shall be saved,” connects the blood of Christ and baptism. In Romans 5:8-9, the apostle Paul said, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” But when Jesus gave the “Great Commission,” He said these words: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mk.16:15-16). So, while there is no doubt that Jesus saves us by His blood, He only does so when we are baptized. This connects the blood of Christ to baptism!

What about 1 Pet 3:21? And Acts 2:38? Let me make it clear: Not baptism itself but personal faith and the blood of christ is the basis for our salvation, but baptism it is the moment in which salvation becomes real.

Those texts don’t fit into the calvinist theological framework so their teachers like Piper and MacArthur perform theological gymnastics to impose their theology on the text. Notice Piper starts with his church statement of faith and then forces the scriptures to conform to his theology. How his listeners can’t see this ill never know.

Personal faith and the blood of Christ Are the basis for our salvation but in the Lord's eyes what saves us is faith in action through obedience. As the Word says we must have " obedience unto righteousness" ( Rom.6:16 ). We must exercise our free will by obeying the gospel plan of salvation ( Acts 2:38 ) to be saved because salvation just doesn't involves salvation from hell but a rebirth process . Repentance and water baptism are essential for the remission of sins. Sins are remitted as a result of obedience when during water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit circumcises our conscience removing the guilt from past sins and restoring to it its childlike sensitivity to sin . The Holy Spirit baptism must be prayed for.. The Spirit baptism is how the Holy Spirit is recieved in the believer. It is to filled with the Spirit to overflowing. Once the Lord answers your prayer and fills you then you must yield your tongue, " the body's most unruly member that No Man can tame", until the Holy Spirit takes control of it ( tames it ) and enables you to speak in the spiritual language our English translation calls " tongues". When this occurs it triggers the baptismal overflow and the Holy Spirit joins with our spirit ever to remain within us Now the believer is saved/ born again.

33 mins in. The Old Covenant was for men only. The New Covenant membership is no longer ethnic you argue but spiritual. I won't split hairs on that as I think Paul dives into that in the coming verses. But the greatness of the New Covenant is that it is no longer just for men to carry the sign but women too. But under the New it is no longer for the Believer's children as it was with circumcision? Also my two cents, which don't hold up to Dr. Piper's Dollar, but I believe Paul is talking about the baptism of the Spirit. Or as John the Baptist called it, a Baptism by Fire. All who have been Baptized by the Baptism of Christ have Faith. And Have put on Christ. Willing to be lovingly corrected or disagreed with!

I am all alone, with nobody who even half way knows the scriptures to speak with. Financially immobile and partially disabled. No one to ask questions, or to help hold me accountable, or even for reciprical encouragement and edification in the faith of Christ Jesus. After 40 years of study, I still have questions but no one to ask. Like: What if the person who baptized us is shown to be fraudulent and not of the elect? In John 4 were told that Jesus' disciples were baptizing, so that may have included Judas Iscariot. The question is: "Would such a baptism be efficacious?"

Exactly, as in Mt 28. When we are baptized into the name of the Blessed Three, we are baptized into their possessionship. When the apostles preached baptism on the day of Pentecost, they made sure the crowd understood the command to be baptized was not by their own authority but of Jesus Christ. People who believe you have to say the words "in Jesus' name" over a baptism are very misled. There are no instructions or guidelines on what to say over a baptism. Just as the case with the Ethiopian Eunuch. An angel overlooked the entire process, so we know it was done according to heavens' will. While ridding in the cart, as they came upon sufficient water to be baptized. The Eunuch asked, "Here is water. What keeps me from being baptized? What Philip needed to hear, to make sure he qualified to be baptized, was if the Eunuch believed Jesus is the Christ the Son of God. The Eunuch confessed, the driver was ordered to stop the chariot. They both went down into the water, and Philip baptized him. Anything else, as words spoken over the baptism, is speculation.

Thus says The Lord, concerning baptism: Let My beloved first be baptized in spirit and in truth, filled with the knowledge of The Holy, nourished by the Word of Truth. Let them come to Me in sincere repentance, and receive forgiveness of sins in The Messiah’s name... All burdens lifted, immersed and purified in The Spirit of God. For The Holy One of Israel is He who baptizes with The Holy Spirit and with fire,[1] and He knows His own. Therefore, hear and understand: The Water of Life is not of the earth. Rather The Water of Life is that which flows from the body of Messiah. For in Him alone shall one know salvation and receive everlasting life. Therefore be baptized in the knowledge and wisdom of The Beloved. Listen to Him and walk in His ways, and you shall surely be accepted. Tell Me, is the water of the earth able to take away your sins, or cleanse you of your transgressions? Can a river lead you to salvation or a stream call you to repentance? In what waters have you heard The Word of God speak? Thus baptism by water can not save you. Rather salvation comes by the hearing of The Gospel, And through the confession of the mouth that YahuShua, Called Jesus, is Lord, believing HE IS WHO HE IS[2]... The Risen One... The Only Way, The Only Truth, The Only Life[3]... For only by true repentance, in accord with the heart’s desire To be in union with The Messiah, shall one be set free. So then go forth, and be baptized in the waters of the earth, if you so desire. Yet remember this: Baptism in and of itself is nothing, unless the heart of the one being immersed has truly been converted. Thus baptism is for a testimony, an exercise in faith for the one who is saved already; or a mere dampening of the clothes of the one who came forth in pretense. For I am The Lord, I search the hearts and minds,[4] and I know whether or not one has truly been converted in their heart. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:” - Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” - Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.” - Isaiah 12:2 (KJV) “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” - Isaiah 25:9 (KJV) “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” - Isaiah 54:5 (KJV) “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,” - Luke 1:68 (KJV) John 1 (KJV) ¹) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ¹⁴) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” - John 8:58 (KJV) John 10 (KJV) ²⁸) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰) I and my Father are one. “And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.” - John 12:45 (KJV) John 14 (KJV) ⁶) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ⁷) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. ⁸) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. ⁹) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” - Acts 20:28 (KJV) Romans 8 (KJV) ⁹) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.” - 1 Corinthians 15:47 (KJV) “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” - 2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 4:6 (KJV) Colossians 1 (KJV) 15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” - Colossians 2:9 (KJV) Hebrews 1 (KJV) ¹) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, ²) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; ³) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; “But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;” - Titus 1:3 (KJV) “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” - Jude 1:25 (KJV) “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” - 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” - Matthew 26:28 (KJV) “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” - Luke 24:47 (KJV) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” - Acts 2:38 (KJV) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12 (KJV) “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” - Acts 8:12 (KJV) “(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” - Acts 8:16 (KJV) Acts 10 (KJV) ⁴⁷) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? ⁴⁸) And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Acts 19 (KJV) ²) He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. ³) And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. ⁴) Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. ⁵) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. “And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” - Acts 22:16 (KJV) “I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” - Isaiah 45:23 (KJV) “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” - Romans 14:11 (KJV) Philippians 2 (KJV) ¹⁰) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” - Mark 16:17 (KJV) “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” - Acts 2:4 (KJV) Acts 10 (KJV) ⁴⁴ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. ⁴⁵ And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. ⁴⁶ For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” - Acts 19:6 (KJV) John 3 (KJV) ⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

This evening, I mostly posted this message on a score of atheist channels, and a dozen pseudo Christian ones...lol. The Gospel (Good News) Simple terms; Believe on Christ and live. The Gospel (Good News) Basic Scriptural terms; Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, I Corinthians 15:3-4, John 3:16, 36. Ephesians 2:8-9, Ephesians 1:13, I John 5:11-13. The Gospel (Good News) in Layman terms; All have sinned (fallen short of God's mark) which is perfection. Yet in-spite of such, God loves us so much, that He was manifest in the flesh (Jesus the Christ), being the lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. This He did at Calvary, being our atonement, and our propitiation, paying in His own blood to redeem us, and cleanse us eternally. He then, did go into the heart of the earth for three days and three nights, and upon the third day, did rise in resurrection power. And all who believe on/in Him, and what He has done and promised, will pass from death unto life, and will also be sealed with Him, the Holy Ghost. Not only that, all who have believed on/in Him, have the eternal promise and assurance, that we may know, that we have been saved forever. I bid; I John 5:11-13: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. May Christ alone be exalted. Come and join me in the Spam Gospel..... ;)

There are many churches and different baptists alike believing themselves to be the true church. Yet the Truth revealed, not a single church accepts Him as He really is, no not one. Do not stumble over the letter and remember: the Spirit of the Word, and not the letter, is the Way, Truth and Life as it is written. Thus says the Lord of His true church: "Again I say to you, My church has no walls, and is called by no other name except the name The Father has given Me. Its members are of one mind and one spirit, of one love, one flock with one Shepherd, a people set apart who keep The Commandments of The Father and remain faithful to The Son, striving always to walk in My ways. For those who truly know Me dwell in Me, and I in them. For they are Mine, even as I am theirs also - My body, My bride. Therefore woe to any church of men, who claims to be the true church and remnant. Woe, I say to them. For they have placed themselves in the seat of The Father, and therefore remain under God’s judgment. For none walk according to the Truth, not one accepts Me as I truly am; all have gone astray, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men. Beloved, no one can come to Me, unless The Father who sent Me draws them to Me. And only those who accept Me as I truly am are of My body, for The Truth resides within them and is revealed by their works. Yes, even these stumble in their walk, for they are but flesh. Yet I am He who searches the Hearts and minds, I know My own; I know whose love is steadfast, Whose faith is unmoving... And this is the True Church My people long for, the remnant Which now is and is yet to come... For it is not found outwardly in the world, But inwardly, in the temple of God... I am The Lord." Says He whose name is YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH. Of His Volumes of Truth, the Word of the Lord spoken to this generation! Thus says The Lord, concerning baptism: "Let My beloved first be baptized in spirit and in truth, filled with the knowledge of The Holy, nourished by the Word of Truth. Let them come to Me in sincere repentance, and receive forgiveness of sins in The Messiah’s name... All burdens lifted, immersed and purified in The Spirit of God. For The Holy One of Israel is He who baptizes with The Holy Spirit and with fire, and He knows His own. Rather salvation comes by the hearing of The Gospel, And through the confession of the mouth that YahuShua, Called Jesus, is Lord, believing HE IS WHO HE IS... The Risen One... The Only Way, The Only Truth, The Only Life... For I am The Lord, I search the hearts and minds, and I know whether or not one has truly been converted in their heart." Remember what you have heard, honor with mouth is nothing unless the heart has confessed YahuShua is who He is. Let it be your joy! There is one confession He is very pleased in, behold it shall be revealed to you. For thus has the Lord spoken through one of the 144 000: "There is one God and Father, one Lord who causes to be - YAHUWAH. There is one Savior, The Only Begotten of The Father, by whom all things consist - YAHUSHUA. And they are ONE. If then there is only one Lord, one God and one Savior, and in our language He is called “Lord” and “God”, then would not calling anyone or anything else “Lord” or “God”, whether a false god or a man, be blasphemy? Does not The Lord Himself search our hearts and minds, even our innermost thoughts and intentions? Does He not know who we are referring to, when we say “Jesus[1] is Lord”? Even throughout the world, believers and unbelievers alike know the name “Jesus” (a name given to YahuShua by men) refers to He who was crucified and rose from the dead. And if we say YAHUSHUA is YAHUWAH, is this not also self-evident? Even before the earth was made, there is ONE alone who was and is and has always been THE LORD ABSOLUTE, which by definition demands there can be only one. Thus all others, whether man, false deity or carved image, referred to as “Lord” in English or in any other language, are false! - Deceivers! Impostors! Idols! - To call any of these “Lord” is blasphemy, even on the highest order! For thus has The Lord spoken: One God... One Son, The Only Way to The Father... One Truth, One Word, One Messiah, One Spirit; One Food, One Bread and One Drink... One Body... Of which I am all, The All in All." If you so choose, receive brothers and sisters! Freely i was given, freely receive. Receive also this warning, for the great and terrible day draws near: "My servants, to warn your brothers and sisters, Even to your neighbors and countrymen, Whether they will hear or whether They will forbear, is LOVE... For only an evil man would fail to warn his fellows, When he had knowledge of coming calamity... And only a wicked man meet for death would save himself, While forsaking those nearby to the sword... Says The Lord." And He most certainly takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked as it is written, nor is there everlasting torment as taught by the churches of men.

Yahusha and the disciples did not baptize the way we have been told and taught to do it in the last few hundred centuries or more. True baptism has been lost and watered down throughout the millenniums, and is that so hard to believe after over two thousand years have passed? This is why ever year thousands upon thousands of people get baptized every year and there is no change in their life at all. If you notice, there is very little to no change in the way they feel inside after these baptisms, and the little deference they do feel quickly fads within days and in some cases hours. But if you learned the true original way they were baptizing and you go through the true baptism, not only would your life change right before your eyes and before the eyes of all who know you, but also your inside will be changed to the point that all who know you would literally be able to see it, and I mean literally! For your body will actually be transfigured and your body will glow in its newly regenerated temple that we call bodies! This is not fiction, but when you learn the truth, you will find that the truth is not really stranger than fiction as they say, but it is the fiction that is strange, and the truth is liberating and will set you free from suffering.

If you notice the man in this vedeo dodges all the passages that connect baptism to salvation. Jesus speaking with Nicodemus (Jn.3:1-10), knew (for Jesus could read minds) that Nicodemus, as the other pharisees, "rejected the councel of God not being baptized of John" (Lk.7:30). Jesus gets straight to the point with Nicodemus, and says to him "unless you (plural) are born again (baptized) you can not see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus not understanding, asks "how can a man when he is "old" be born again, can he enter into his mothers womb, and be born again"? He is not asking how a baby is born again, for he understood the question was directed to him. "Can he, being an old man enter into his mothers womb again?" Jesus explains, knowing he refused Johns baptism, said you "must" be born of water and the Spirit. We've already excluded "water" in this passage is not referring to the water of a woman giving birth, for the question is how can an "old" man be born again? The water in this passage clearly refers to baptism, as it demonstrates that it is not through the birth of a "woman" that one enters into Christ's kingdom. The Role of the Holy Spirit: The New Testament makes it clear that the Holy Spirit, operating though the medium of the Word of God, "begets" (in a maner of speaking) the individual who gladly recieves the truth. James declared, "of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be kind of firstfruits of his creatures" (Jas.1:18). "Having been begotten again, not of corruptable seed, but of incorruptable, through the word of God, which lives and abides forever" (1 Pet 1:23). The Scriptures clearly affirm that the Holy Spirit uses the Word of truth as his insrument of operation upon the human heart. Read Ep.6:17. Many people have been led down the wrong path believing one is saved before baptism, yet Jesus made it clear an un baptized believer will not see, nor enter the Kingdom. As Jesus continued speaking to Nicodemus he said in (Vs.7) "marvel not what I told you, you must be born again." Baptism is far more important than what is being taught in this vedeo, as Jesus can not be more clearer. He means what he says. Later after Jesus rose from the grave, He commisioned his disciples to "go and preach the gospel to every creature, he that believes and is baptized shall be saved..." (Mk.16:15-16). So "faith alone" does not save, but faith (a work of God Jn.6:29) plus obedience to be baptized, which is not a work of human merit; rather, it is commanded by God (Acts 10:47), "for the forgiveness of sins" (Acts 2:38), and the "resurrection" effected in that ritual (which is unto life--Romans 6:4) is a working of God," and not one of human ingenuity. Don't let anyone mislead you, "baptism does also now save us" (1 Pet.3:21).

3Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again,a you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Baptist and other protestants have no idea what baptism is and they take all the power the holy spirit puts in baptism. Strange doctrines

Taking scriptures out of context leads to false salvation messages. Let me clear something up that you all need to understand before you can properly follow the word of truth. You need to know who is doing the writing - You need to know to whom the letter was being sent. You cannot take a letter destined for a certain group of believers and apply it to yourself if you do not believe the same as both the author and the receivers. Once you apply this reasoning then the word will open up to you. Therefore, what you need to do is study the author and in the book of Peter it is the apostle Peter and, in the very first verse he states to whom the letter applies. Remember the books of the new testament were letters sent to believers from the church leaders. Question #1: What did Peter believe you 'must do' for salvation? This is very easy to find and it's clearly written in Acts 2:38 First, after Peter finished preaching the people asked them "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Peter just stated what is required for remission of sins. Jesus told the disciples to preach remission of sins and they did. Peter did not go into great detail about baptism BUT anther apostle did - His name is Paul. In Romans verse 7 it identifies to whom the letter was intended. "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." The letter is to the saints at the church in Rome. They were all saved by baptism into Jesus Christ and filled with the holy ghost. Paul himself was saved by baptism into Jesus Christ when he was baptized by Ananias. Therefore, you can clearly see here the author was saved by baptism and everyone at any of his churches he established were also saved by baptism into Jesus Christ. The principle of learning what the author of the letter believed and to whom he was writing the letter, will lead you towards the truth of salvation. You CANNOT take scriptures out of letters and attempt to make a new salvation message! Getting back to baptism - Paul explains the process in Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? WOW! this is very telling. 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: When we are baptized and under the water we die - yes for salvation you first must die. Paul says, when under the water Jesus is with us BUT, when we come out of the water, Christ comes in us - (also called the Holy Ghost) This is the seed of life, the seed (gift) of the Father - it converts us from death to life. We are now the incorruptible seed and the children of the kingdom. We are new creatures in Christ - We are the Elect - our name is written in the book of LIFE - We are joint heirs with Christ - We are the Church, the body of Christ and Jesus is the head of the body. He knows us as we now have a relationship with the Father and the Son - we have a new family name! We shall rise and meet Jesus in the air upon his return, for only His Elect will be saved on that day because we have been converted from death to LIFE - death will NOT enter his kingdom. Yes baptism does absolutely save you and it is clearly expressed in the bible. Anyone that teaches another salvation is not being lead by the Holy Ghost. - but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Remember Peter was talking to the Jews who had crucified Jesus their Messiah and were regretting what they had done. Hence his reply as most would have already been baptised by John for remission of sins. Peter advocated baptism in Jesus's name whereas Jesus commanded his disciples to baptise in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Many gentiles received the Holy Ghost on hearing the Gospel alone and were then baptised. Acts 8 tells us that you do not receive the Holy Ghost if you are baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus only. The samaritans received it by the laying on of hands by Peter and John who also received the Holy Ghost at Pentecost without Baptism. They were baptised by the Holy Ghost and fire as prophesied by John the Baptist and promised by Jesus. Baptism or immersion is of Jewish origin and they fully immerse themselves in a mikvah (pool in the synagogue) for many reasons including after menstruation, marriage, sex and changes in belief etc. The Jews would have expected to be told to immerse themselves again whereas this is not normal for the gentiles. They have one baptism only according to the Bible.

With so many opinions, what does the bible have to say about baptism? 2 timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. The bible has all the answers on baptism. Also Gods word even anticipates every wrong idea about Gods word. The bible, his word, has all the answers. Let's look a through some scriptures about baptism trying to rightly divide the word of truth. Everything points to Jesus, his baptism is the like figure for us.. **Mark 1-9-10 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him.. Johns baptism of repentance jesus was Submerged in water rises up out of the water and the holy ghost comes upon him. Baptism isnt a work, its doctrine.. **Hebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement. So it's important. There is only one baptism! Not many as some suppose.. Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, ONE baptism Some people state that baptism doesnt save or play a part in our salvation again contrary to Gods own words, Baptism does save.. 1 peter 3:20-21 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were *SAVED BY WATER* 21The LIKE FIGURE whereunto even baptism doth also now SAVE us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ! And also in the days of moses 1corinthians 10:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ They were saved by faith going into the sea and coming up out of the sea, this is likened to baptism. **Roman's 6:3-7 Know ye not, that so many of us (that is all) as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are *buried* with him by baptism into death: that *like as Christ was *raised up* from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For **IF** we have been planted together in the *likeness of his death*, we shall be ALSO in the likeness of his resurrection:* 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. *7For he that is dead is freed from sin.* **Collosians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. So from above scriptures, • Just as Jesus died we die to sin. •Like Jesus was buried in the earth we are submerged in the water. •Like Jesus rose from the dead we rise up out of the water. So baptism is a picture of christ death and ressurection. And so we will be resurrected like jesus! *Acts 2:38-41 Then Peter said unto them, 1)Repent, and 2) be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ 3) *FOR* the remission of sins, and 4) ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, EVEN AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.(that's everyone! Jew or greek) 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were ADDED unto them about three thousand souls. We are baptised for the remission of our sins (past) then we walk in the newness of life. Is this not the same as being born again? Are you called? Repent first and be baptized. Then we walk in the newness of life being born of the spirit through the gift of holy ghost given to us. Some teach believing is spiritual baptism if that's the case why are they mentioned in the next verse separately? That would also make two baptisms when we know from above there is only one! **Mark 16:16 He that believeth AND is baptized SHALL be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. This verse is as clear, it doesnt condemn those for not being baptised but it's clear that it becomes a promise to those who do! (Believe AND be baptized SHALL be saved) Only those who do not believe are condemned. The thief was never baptised as he never had a chance but he believed and confessed in his last moments and the lord showed mercy, and the story of the thief on the cross shows us the lengths of his mercy. WHEN should someone be baptized? Again the bible has a plain answer. The question is plainly asked... Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, *See, here is water;* WHAT DOTH HINDER ME TO BE BAPTIZED? 37And Philip said, IF thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both *INTO THE WATER* both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39And when they were *CONE UP OUT OF THE WATER,* the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. The only thing hindering anyone to be baptized is do you believe with all your heart that jesus christ is the son of God. So that rules out infant baptism. They neither believe anything nor do they need to repent. (And also repentance comes first as it is written in acts 2:38) Why did jesus say go unto ALL nations and teach and baptize, if it was only for Israel as some teach? Because it is for all! Mathew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach ALL nations,(not just israel) baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. So that rules out that baptism is for a different dispensation. In conclusion jesus baptism with all verses, our salvation starts with: 1)believe the gospel. 3)this should lead us to repentance 2)Accept christ as your personal Lord and saviour. 4) be baptised by immersion in water like all these verses speak, planted in likeness of his death and ressurection. Die to sin and put on christ! 5) trust christ finished work it is finished, endure to the end and walk in the newness of life, dead to sin. Baptism is important! **Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. **27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ...** **28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.** ** 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.** Clearly whether jew, greek, hebrew, israelite gentile, it doesnt matter, if your baptized into christ you have put on christ and heir according to the PROMISE. This also destroys the argument that baptism is for a different dispensation, it is for all! Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. V41 the same day was added 3000 souls. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

One pastor says water baptism is not required while anther pastor says yes baptism in water is required, it goes on and on, Im sure you wont be condemned if you get baptized in water in conjunction with faith that Jesus is your lord and savior, Jesus was beaten, ridiculed and nailed to a cross for me so a small gesture of getting submerged in water seems like a good deal. Praise the Lord.

Based on Mark 1:8, and Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-17, the most important thing about the word "baptism" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. This fact is confirmed by Romans 8:9, and 1 Corinthians 3:16 , and Ephesians 1:13. In John 3 Christ revealed that nobody enters the kingdom of God without being "born-again" of the Spirit of God. The only baptism that is important for salvation cannot be performed by a man. It comes upon hearing, and believing, and is performed by Christ. .

This is a strange comment, as “Calvinism” is presumably the systematic theology of John Calvin articulated in the Institutes of the Christian Religion, and in this great work Calvin gives a detailed explanation of his views supporting infant baptism. Calvinism is not Baptist…

I don't want first / second century scriptural practise. I want salvation as the apostles understood it. I want what the very men who walked, talked, ate, learnt, taught, slept, laughed and witnessed the death of Christ, understood to be salvation.

John seems to have revelation unknown to those taught by the apostles, and their descendants, St Basil included. “And in what way are we saved? Plainly because we were regenerate through the grace given in our baptism.” Basil, On the Spirit, 10:26 (A.D. 375). In the end, the final authority isn't scripture, it's John himself, declaring ultimately that Jesus Christ wasn't faithful. He lied in saying: _"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into _*_all the truth"_* (Jn 16:13) John tacitly believes that the Spirit led the Church to *some* truth but not all, and allowed it to error for over 1500 years on baptism. This is basically what the Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses profess... a great apostasy, a great corruption. Jesus didn't mean what he said. Perhaps John can cite someone, anyone, in the first 1000+ years of Christian who professed his interpretation of scripture on baptism. Or does one not need to have history on their side?

And if history is on your side, in your fallible interpretation of the Bible, then cite it. What really matters is that man needs to stop telling people that God thinks this, God will do that, God feels something, God said such and such. Like i heard Mr Piper say in a podcast say that Baptism doesn't save but faith does. I am not, nor ever will i get into this parsing out of scripture like this Man here and perpetrate himself and the handling of his lifes work like you could ever know God through this extreme complicated systematic approach and CALL it deep knowledge. Like listen his explanation of how faith is something separate or other than baptism. His problem is, the obvious doesn't need his explanation. I mean read his word obey it and live. This, he is so confusedly discussing, that he is creating so many complications and impediments to dynamic living as you read and excerise faith responding to truth, that denominationalism and disunity is absolutely your only choice. Just read exodus and watch Moses, Aaron, He who dwells between the Cherubim And Isreal. Many encounters show you dynamically what God desires and if a man was pleasing or displeasing. These Doctors of Theological seminaries have Ruined us. Only people who don't read and study would go to their organization and pay tithes and offering to it. Anyone with true faith and knowledge from the reading and constant rereading and study can't stomach listening to it.

Thats not what Paul preached, in his gospel, given him by christ! That by Grace you are saved thru Faith! Peter was a Jew speaking only to Jews, and holding onto The Law! Christ told the women from Cannon,Matt 15:24, (Gentile) when she asked Him to have mercy on her sister! He to9ld her he didnt come to Gentiles, but to Save the lost sheep of Isreal(jews) only! He saw her great Faith, and healed her sister! The thief on the cross was not baptised either! He preached the mosiac law(Moses Ten Commandments), and the 613 other doctrines! He had come to setup His Kingdom! The Jews didnt believe, and had Him crucified! Which when He said it is finished! He also meant The Law! Then He took Saul a high Parisee Jew, and converted him and his name became Paul! Taking him(Paul) to show him the new covenant, GRACE! To take then to the Gentiles! Jesus never baptised one person, by the way! Paul preached that the from the cross forward, to believe in Christs death, buriel, and resurrection, that you will be saved! Believe plus nothing! Not by circumcision, lest His work on the cross become vain! Middle of Acts is the conversion from The Law, to the Gospel of Grace! Paul wrote 13 books of the New Testament! 2nd Timothy 2:15 King James says Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Study to know what was written by Jews to Jews, for Jews only! Study Pauls Gospel from Acts 15-Titus! Ephesians 2:8 and 9 Is so clear For by grace ye are saved through Faith; and not of yourselves: it is a gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Baptising is only symbolic, to show your faith and believe in Christs work on the cross, that His shed blood was sufficient! Paul warned about those who tried to water down this gospel, with works of the Law!

Well, the entire Reformed world disagrees with this man. Where I live, and the people I hear from have a different view of baptism. I'm saying that THIS is what I get back from the pew-sitters, the ever-hearing. So, who is responsible for that? What other theology so completely dismisses the Book of Acts as the Reformed? Where else are Paul 's words in Romans 10 so loud...so significant in Romans 5, but Romans 6 is but a whisper, or else subject to purposeful re-interpretation? So ito with Paul's letter to the Colossians, which he commanded to be read at Laodicea. I always thought that it was Peter to whom Jesus said, "Whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven." But now I find that it was John Calvin to whom He spoke. Don't like my tone? Rest assured, I'm not the only one hearing this stuff year after year. There is Another who also listens to how His words are delivered.

There is only one God. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They are One. This is proven In the Old and New Testament. It’s not our job to change scripture according to our own understanding. We must obey what it says and have faith. Why did God say that He made man in “Our image”? The Holy Spirit is referred to as “He” as well. This is a challenging concept for us but we must believe and Trust in the Lord, in whatever form He identifies Himself.

The three persons or members of the Godhead are equal with each other and each is eternal. Each possess a distinct personality involving or showing supernatural (beyond human understanding) intelligence, emotions and will. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have one essence, nature and purpose. The concept or the lesson of God as one yet three persons is called the Godhead, the Divine Family, or Trinity - Acts 17:29 29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Romans 1:29 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers. Colossians 2:9 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. The Godhead is a great truth implicitly explained in the word of God. The idea that God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is a solemn great truth for mankind (our) belief. Though this is beyond human understanding, we accept it by faith because of the Scripture taught us.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 The bible says that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins and that it saves us. Acts 2:38, 1Peter 3:21, Acts 22:16, Mark 16:16. The bible teaches that when a person receives the gift of the Holy Ghost that it will be manifested by speaking in other toungues (real languages that you have never learned). Acts 2:4, Mark 16:17, Acts 10:46, Acts 19:6 etc. Born of water = water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Born of the Spirit = receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in new toungues. There is no such thing as accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour to become a Christian in the bible. No apostle of Jesus Christ ever heard of such a thing. There is no "sinners prayer for salvation" found anywhere in the new testament. You must obey the gospel of Jesus Christ Acts 2:38 to be saved from your sins.
