The Platypus IS better than a Staccato P, but Stealth Arms' customer service is also outstanding. After a year of ownership, I broke mine down and took it to my local gunsmith to have night sights installed, got home, went to reassemble, and couldn't find my barrel bushing anywhere. I still can't imagine how it happened, as I put all of the components in a Ziploc, but after 2 hours of searching, hope had run out. I called up Stealth Arms and they told me that they would not only replace the barrel bushing AND ship it to me free of charge, but they would also polish it before sending it out so that it matched my original build. @@DeskPop I heard about them being snappy because of numerous things, all of which seemed like fudd lore lol. There was also the aluminum frame vs steel frame argument from people who 100% over inflated their round counts and people trying to justify their staccato purchases more than actually talking about the platypus. Looking forward to getting one of these one day! their new grip texture that was at shot show was the only texture ive ever felt that actually worked with my sweaty hands (i cant shoot handguns without dirt or chalk its that bad :( )
